Astro-Notes on March 16, 2012 – self-sufficiency

A square between Vesta in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn that re-energizes the current earth Grand Trine, challenges us to move forward with our causes in spite of obstacles and other blocks, which might have been put in our way. We need to raise our ‘fighting’ spirit, bring out our ‘mojo’ and show unflinching dedication in order to overcome limiting or constricting circumstances that could destroy our best intentions if we give in now. Although the realization that we’re indeed on our own may feel disheartening at first, this is our call to make things happen. The simple necessity of it will propel us into doing what must be done.

Tarot card of the day is the “9 of Pentacles”, suggesting that we can complete any work necessary, because we’ve reached a point where we’re feeling self-sufficient, resourceful and capable and have identified the roots of our passion. We have worked hard and acted on our own accord to attain success and material comfort. With inexhaustible focus are we targeting our specific aims and invest our energy in the honing of our skills. Moreover, we appreciate what is now available to us, knowing that the worst is over. Therefore, it is important that we stick to our program and exercise self-discipline until we have achieved that level of sophistication we’re striving for.

Personal Note: As I looked outside my window this morning, all I could see was thick fog, which made me smile, because this eerie landscape described pretty well the current situation, which calls for a sharp focus. While I was typing this sentence, my friend Christina called me on skype and we had a nice long chat that uplifted my spirits. Meanwhile, the fog has cleared, but it’s still overcast outside.
