The Moon will make ingress to Leo at 4:35 am EDT, which is going to set us in a more playful and self-expressive mood. As retrograde Juno in Sagittarius perfects her sesqui-quadrate to Eris in Aries again (with Juno conjoined to the nodal axis), the tensions we’ve been experiencing lately in regard to truths we’ve been discovering about relationship dynamics and our long-term future prospects in the context of winning or losing has gotten even stronger, thereby forcing us to come to terms with the issue of competition and to understand our role in these situations based on habitual patterns of connecting with others from which we need to learn in order to become a ‘greater’ person.
Tarot card of the day is the “3 of Pentacles”, a card that refers to encouragement due to cooperation and collaboration. Teamwork and planning are the essential ingredients toward the achievement of our goals. We’re taking the next step toward becoming established. Improvement of our situation and success are possible if we apply the necessary effort and show persistence.
Happy April Fool’s Day!
A quincunx from retrograde Mars in Virgo to Uranus in Aries is aided by another quincunx from Venus in
Taurus to retrograde Saturn in Libra. This requires an adjustment in our approach and preferences that demands from us to rise to the occasion and act quickly as new trends emerge, urging us to prioritize and to rearrange our responsibilities to be able to juggle our obligations.
Tarot card of the day is “The Empress”, suggesting a deep connection with the yin principle and thus with our feminine side. It’s a day when we create beauty in our lives and experience our sensuality. Those ideas that have been growing and developing inside us can be brought forward (especially with the 6 of Wands as preceding card). There is a caring and nurturing vibe in our surroundings. The situation is pregnant with possibility.
Personal Note: My friend Lee Ann from the Lakeshore area has my business cards with her in her booth at the fair, where she will be offering her own services that range from reiki to reflexology and include her famous Indian head massages. She had invited me to join her to be able to promote my own business, but I have a late afternoon shift today. Yet, the “situation is pregnant with possibility”. Potential developments in regard to our plans and shared vision could be coming out from this (t Venus is crossing over my Midheaven and t Uranus is quincunx my natal Mars with t Mars in conjunction to it) and thus, I can’t wait to hear back from her what she has to report about her experience.
At 3:40 pm EDT will the waxing Cancer Moon square the Aries Sun for the First Quarter Moon event of the Aries lunation cycle, which is accompanied by a crisis in action. This is testing the sustainability of the original impulse as we might be struggling to foster or get the support for the new beginning we’ve initiated at the time of the Aries New Moon and thus to familiarize ourselves with the new role we slipped into. Therefore, we need to nurture our “I-am-ness” and allow the emerging sense of Self to grow.
Tarot card of the day is the “6 of Wands”, suggesting that things are changing in a positive way. There is the possibility of acclaim and acknowledgment. It could be our day to shine or we could be coming out on top. We strive to be successful and seek to promote ourselves more frequently in order to gain the recognition we desire. However, it is important that we keep the ego in check.
Retrograde Mercury in Pisces, Ceres in Aries and Venus in Taurus are engaged in a lesser symmetrical
triangle configuration that establishes a dynamic exchange between these energies that propels us out of our comfort zone and state of tranquility, which could lull us in if we yield to these feelings, and provides the necessary impetus to take care of our personal initiatives. The Sun in Aries’ square to Pluto in Capricorn challenges us to take charge over our life and control over limiting circumstances we’re struggling with (such as a depletion of our vital energies) by determinedly and systematically working on our Self-realization. With Pallas in Pisces in semi-sextile aspect to Vesta in Aries, we have to raise our spirit and will in order to save the day. After the Moon’s ingress to Cancer at 7:07 pm EDT, we might feel more inclined to nurture ourselves and to seek our support from our environment.
Tarot card of the day is the “8 of Pentacles”, suggesting a day of great diligence and focus, when we work hard, pay attention to details and apply us fully to our goals. Success can be achieved through perseverance and individual initiative. We’re committed to make the necessary changes and adjustments to continuously improve our life. It’s a card of encouragement and reassurance that the energy we invest in our development will be worth our while.
Personal Note: Around midnight I fell into my bed dead tired and burnt out and as a consequence slept in this morning. However, I was quick on my feet once I noticed how late in the day it was already, even though I had to fight the tiredness and could’ve slept most likely all day if I’d given in to this overwhelming urge that’s bugging me to surrender to those feelings of being drained and depleted of energy. I realized though that I cannot afford to lose the whole day if I want to make some headway. It is also important that I arrange time for and keep committed to a work-out routine to become more energetic. So, this will the next thing I’m going to tackle on my agenda today. Wishing you all a great day and don’t forget to order the monthly Tarot spread if you want to know how to best navigate through this lunar month!
A sesqui-quadrate from Venus in Taurus to Pluto in Capricorn demands that we access our resourcefulness and build up a sense of emotional security in order to be able to manage our circumstances and validate our feelings.
Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Cups”, representing some sort of beginning or renewal, which could herald a positive message we respond to in an emotional manner. Our intuition is sharp today and creative energy is trying to burst forth into our consciousness. Therefore, we need to be open to receive, express our emotions and let our heart lead the way. This card encourages us to take a fresh perspective on a difficult issue and to allow our creative Self to come to the fore so that a sense of freedom may reappear in our life.

The Sun in Aries casts a trine to retrograde Juno in Sagittarius and then forms a semi-sextile to Chiron
in Pisces, indicating that we’ve come to a point of understanding regarding our role within relationship dynamics, which seem to have taken a life of their own, where we recognize that we must take the right action in order to initiate healing on our part. As a consequence, after the Moon’s ingress to Gemini at 6:43 am EDT this morning, moods became lighter and we’re more easy-going and flexible in our approach.
Tarot card of the day is “The Devil”, a card that comes with the message to untie our binds and set ourselves free. There is the possibility that we could give in to negative and hidden influences, which are trying to manipulate us or to obsessions, temptations and other compulsions. We might fear that we have to succumb to unwanted circumstances and thus might even fear taking our own power back. In any case, the material world is highlighted and with it our darker emotions. A tendency toward negativity and pessimism could keep us addicted and enslaved to whatever issue we give control over us.
Personal Note: With Mercury in Sagittarius in my 4th house most of my connections are long distance, which means there is a quite a mailing process going on. Throughout the day yesterday until late in the night I had ‘fought’ my way through the bulk of mails until I had responded to them all, except for one, for which I sacrificed my own enjoyment together with projects I need to work on or complete. As I signed in to my mailbox this morning, I found a few of these mails responded to already. So, I realized this cannot continue in this way – I must learn to live with a full inbox, even though it bothers me and I will lose the oversight, especially with the mouse problems I’m having since this Mercury retrograde began (the clicking has gone wild and often deletes more than one email at a time, per example). But, oh well! On Facebook I’ve been added to many groups, but never really respond to anything or even read through the topics, although I’m aware that I could learn a lot from these interchanges. The problem is that it’s too much, unfortunately. I don’t know how others manage that.
