Astro-Notes on June 12, 2012 – expressing ourselves from the heart

Shortly after midnight at 00:21 am EDT did the Moon make ingress to Aries, tuning up our motivation and

bringing forth determination. Chiron stationed retrograde at 9:45 Pisces at 1:13 am EDT. He’ll be tracing back his steps to 4:58 Pisces, where he will station direct on November 14. This corresponds to a phase when we review, introspect and reflect upon the principle of wounding and healing that is operating in our life to become aware of the source of these issues. Mercury in Cancer forms a tense sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Juno in Scorpio and a harmonious trine to retrograde Chiron in Pisces, urging us to choose our words carefully and communicate with heightened awareness of personal sensitivities in a complex relationship situation, where resentment could make things more complicated. Focusing on support and keeping our higher ideals in mind can help us to bridge difficult issues.

Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Wands”, suggesting that we can expect the unexpected today. Change is encouraged. We’re rediscovering our purpose and source of vitality, experiencing creative restlessness and enthusiasm for which we need to find an outlet. Thus, we’re positive and spontaneous, excited about the possibilities, step into the limelight, are passionate about our projects and take the plunge. There are new possibilities, calling upon us to express ourselves from our heart.

In the news: With before-death notes, China activists attempt to preempt being ‘suicided’ – BEIJING – “I will not commit suicide” has become a new mantra among China’s human rights activists. They are responding half-mockingly and half-seriously to fears that they could be “suicided” by the Chinese government for their activism. – Thousands of protesters held banners as they marched a street when Mercury in Cancer activated the Uranus-Pluto square.

Personal Note: We’re really getting soaked here. The rain and storms moved in yesterday afternoon when my friend Sharon and I returned from the beautiful beach in Ipperwash. It was a great idea to call her up and arrange for a visit, especially since I won’t be off from work again for the next ten days. We had such a wonderful day together. I also got a Reiki treatment in her peaceful backyard, where it is easy to relax and enjoy nature. Returning home with fresh herbs from her garden allows me to remember our day by the aromatic smell that’s now permeating my apartment.
