Astro-Notes on September 25, 2012 – finding out where we stand

As Venus in Leo and Mars in Scorpio approach their square, both of them are activating the Uranus-Pluto

square with tense octile aspects and thus increasing the challenges and acuteness of the situation, even though it’ll take another couple of days until their aspect will perfect. We’re feeling the crisis building up and the tightening pressure that keeps us on an edge, all of which is testing our resolve and stamina, while pushing us mercilessly and relentlessly to intensify our efforts in order to break out of limiting circumstances beyond our control and make progress on several fronts. This requires that we assert our influence where it is necessary and concentrate on our values and priorities, thereby validating our worth and honoring our wants and desires. A trine from retrograde Pallas in Aries to Juno in Sagittarius indicates that we’ve reached the end of the road and thus a certain level of growth as the outcome of our interactions with others, where we now have to look back and review how far our personal strategies have brought us.

Tarot card of the day is the “7 of Pentacles”, suggesting slow growth. The seeds have been sown, but there is no sign yet that they have germinated. Some things are moving along well and we feel hopeful about the future, while others seem to be pointless. Consequently, we are applying a long-term view and focus on sustainability of results. It’s time now to assess which of our energy investments are worth it and where we might have to change direction. Thus, we are taking stock, reflecting on our progress, questioning our choices and find out where we stand.

In the news: Taiwenese ships clash with Japanese coast guard over disputed island in an attempt to claim their rights to fish in that area in which they succeeded. – A federal appeals court has reversed itself and thrown out a judge’s landmark ruling that the Army Corps of Engineers is liable for billions of dollars in damage that property owners blame on its maintenance of a New Orleans shipping channel.

Personally, I reflect on the passing of my beloved bunny rabbit Baby 5 years ago, which was one of the most formidable experiences of my life that “coincided” with a lunar eclipse as it literally opened my heart. Today is also the 8. birthday of my little niece Loreen. So far, I was only able to celebrate her 4th with her.
