The Mars-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn begins a new cycle that combines our intentions and actions with the
power and resourcefulness we can muster in an organized, achievement-oriented way for which we may lay the foundation today. Venus in Scorpio’s semi-square to Juno in Sagittarius together with her sesqui-quadrate to Pallas in Pisces urge us to understand our role in the grander scheme of things as we reach out and seek to expand our web of connections, especially what shared values and resources concerns. Therefore, final validation or judgments are in order, which for some may come with regret or in form of ‘back-biting’ and for others with feelings of empowerment, depending on the values we have embraced in the past. Karma will be felt deeply and unmistakably today. After the Moon’s ingress to Gemini at 7:58 pm EST and instant square to Neptune in Pisces will we feel the need to get busy, to communicate our ideas and connect with important others, but have to delay this until later when the ‘air is cleared’.
Tarot card of the day is the “6 of Cups”, suggesting that past efforts are being rewarded and pleasant or nostalgic memories are resurfacing. Past connections can serve some useful purpose. However, we need to look toward the future now and lay solid foundations in this regard. It’s important to be keenly aware of the blessings in our lives and to take some time out to enjoy the good moments, for they are special.
In the news: Naked activists make Boehner’s D.C. office less stuffy as they were protesting possible cuts to HIV and AIDS funding. They were yelling, “Boehner, Boehner, don’t be a dick, budget cuts will make us sick.” – CSI exhumes the body of former Palestinian leader Jasser Arafat due to suspicions of radioactive poisoning in his death. – Former ‘Melrose Place’ actress has been found guilty and convicted of vehicular homicide.
Personal Notes: I had a consultation scheduled for today noon time with a client, who seems to become a ‘regular’. The session took longer than expected or planned, but we also discussed business potential and venues. Toward the end of it I got a call from work for a shift tomorrow, which though greatly helpful in my limited circumstances basically messes up my entire planning for the next couple of days. However, for a long time now I’ve been feeling that I cannot commit as much time anymore to this blog and also not to mailing – a message that has come through strongly with the Solar Eclipse. So, blog posts may come out late or not as regularly (daily) in the future. However, I’m still available for consultations. – On another note: Today is my maternal grandmother’s 111. birthday (just love the number). This used to be a very exciting day we celebrated in great numbers as the whole family would come together for the occasion. It’s been a long time since she passed, but she’s sincerely missed and as I look at the splendid Full Moon here I’m thinking of her and the wonderful times we had together. Love you Granny!
