Right at the beginning of the new day, at 00:19 am EST, did the First Quarter Moon square of the Sagittarius
lunation cycle transpire. Therefore, we may have felt the crisis in action we’re undergoing during this phase of the cycle already yesterday when we challenged beliefs referring to ‘our special racial-cultural background’ and the images, impressions or preconceptions associated with this in order to survive and prosper in an alien environment’ (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Sagittarius New Moon) by letting go off our ‘self-containment’ (keyword of the Sabian Symbol for the Sagittarius New Moon) and revealing our true nature. Since the Moon’s ingress to Aries at 2:43 am EST, we’ve been feeling more animated and action-oriented, while taking the initiative and doing what needs to be done. As Mars in Capricorn forms a sextile with the North Node in Scorpio (trine South Node in Taurus) and a quincunx with retrograde Ceres in Gemini, we’re prepared to tackle our goals and take advantage of the situation or prevailing conditions to influence our future prospects, while pursuing an approach that has worked for us in the past and will get us unstuck as we have a chance to regain a sense of power through these accomplishments. After reviewing our growth and the support of our plans or through our contacts, we adjust our plans for the day accordingly and thus take action, where it is necessary and productive. With Venus in Sagittarius engaged in a square to Chiron in Pisces we have to overcome a state of growing dissatisfaction and discomfort that seems to permeate all aspects of our life due to unresolved issues, unacknowledged needs, a lack of validation or appreciation as well as feelings of loss or of being trapped or isolated. The more important is it in this situation that we try to reach out and come together in spirit and awareness of our common humanity, while unifying in solidarity and compassion for one another. A waxing quincunx aspect between retrograde Jupiter in Gemini and Pluto in Capricorn, a ‘leg of the yod’ that also involves Saturn in Scorpio, is perfecting today, putting the emphasis on concrete proposals and preventive measures, where we have to rethink our options and review the possibilities in order to gain control over complicated circumstances and complex conditions we have to manage somehow.
Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Cups”, representing some sort of beginning or renewal, which could herald a positive message we respond to in an emotional manner. Our intuition is sharp today and creative energy is trying to burst forth into our consciousness. Therefore, we need to be open to receive, express our emotions and let our heart lead the way. This card encourages us to take a fresh perspective on a difficult issue and to allow our creative Self to come to the fore so that a sense of freedom may reappear in our life.
Personal Note: There are so many as yet unresolved issues in my life that I don’t know where to begin. I feel like there’s never enough time to be able to do everything I want to do and thus, in a way, I can’t wait for the Christmas season to be over and for life to going back to ‘normal’. However, I have a part in this situation as well and therefore, today I will start tackling my issues through a major cleaning effort and thus getting ‘my house in order’, which is long overdue. I decided against driving all the way to Parkhill since I don’t have set up another meeting or appointment that would it make worth my time.
