As Chiron in Pisces’s semi-square to Eris in Aries perfects together with Juno in Capricorn’s semi-square to
the North Node in Scorpio (sesqui-quadrate South Node in Taurus) today, it is critical that we begin acting in our self-interests and take the necessary steps to gain the upper hand over our life’s circumstances, especially in the aftermath of our defeat or loss when we could be feeling the pressure of existential questions weighing down on us and it seems we are at the mercy of fate. The more important is it that we realize that not everything is lost and that we can save ourselves by coming out of our cave in every sense of the word and releasing ourselves from the prison of victim consciousness and self-undoing. It is time to break with relationship patterns that don’t work for us anymore and keep us stuck in situations we have outgrown. We have to be realistic as well as responsible about our role in these dynamics to be able to influence our future prospects from a position of strength. With Mercury in Capricorn in quincunx aspect to retrograde Ceres in Gemini and retrograde Vesta in Gemini in quincunx aspect to Saturn in Scorpio, we have to adjust our plans and commitments accordingly, while at the same time reviewing sources of support, re-connecting with the maternal principle and increasing our authority. The Sun in Capricorn’s sextile with the North Node in Scorpio (trine South Node in Taurus) offers us an opportunity to take charge of our life and fulfill ambitions of the past.
Tarot card of the day is the “Ace of Swords”, indicating a new way of thinking or the conception of an idea or the start of a new project. Our mental powers have been awakened and we’re seeing through illusions, cutting through the confusion, dispelling doubts, finding out the facts, thinking our way through or championing a cause. It’s a time of great insight and mental clarity, which could result in a break-through or aha-moment as well as a greater understanding.
Personal Note: My daughter came over for a visit today to spend some time with me since we didn’t really celebrate her birthday last Monday. Besides, she finally wanted to help me with the assemblage of my shelf and also to move some furniture around. While sipping a nice cup of tea we did a Tarot Reading for her and I also talked to her about her Solar Return chart, which was very revealing indeed and aided her in acknowledging personal issues she’ll have to deal with this solar year. Then we got to work. As a little surprise I had bought a delicious chocolate brownie cake and a set of coasters that match the bowl I had given to her last year for her living room table. Although chatting and indulging the whole time, we got a lot done. I really like the look of my rearranged surroundings. A few touches are still needed here and there, but I’ll get to this once I’ll be back from Alliston.
