Mercury in Pisces engages in a sextile with Pluto in Capricorn, a square with Vesta in Gemini and a trine with Saturn in Scorpio, providing us with an opportunity to envision ways how to master circumstances we didn’t foresee or expect and deal with challenges regarding matters we hold sacred, where the dedication to a cause or project is requiring flexibility and adaptability on our part, as a phase or term defined by intensified structuring (cutting, down-sizing) comes to an end. With Pallas in Aries in square aspect to Pluto in Capricorn and sextile to Vesta in Gemini, we have to overcome those conditions and compulsions that keep us struggling and fighting with time limitations or matters of organization and preventing us from moving ahead with our initiatives. The situation has conspired now in such a way that forces us into action and this could even lead to new politics or strategies, whereby we’re taking our chances and focus on associations or candidates, which are suited for our particular purposes. As Mars meets Chiron in conjunction in Pisces, a new cycle that combines our action urge and drive with the wounding and healing principle in the synthesizing, sensitizing and attuning sign Pisces begins. Thus, we’re releasing ourselves from a victimizing experience that kept us trapped in a ‘cave’ we couldn’t seem to escape from and embark on a course of recovery. After the Moon’s ingress to Aries at 8:51 pm EST will we feel more daring and determined and thus could take a risk.
Tarot card of the day is “The Fool”, referring to unlimited potential, new beginnings, a sense of innocence and naivety. Anything can happen as we start on this journey. We could be taken into unchartered territory and thus need to be aware of the risks and dangers we could encounter, but also need to be ready to take on the opportunities presented to us. This card encourages us to have faith and calls upon us to trust, believe in our spirit and to follow our heart.
An excellent example of this energy weather is the Pope’s unexpected and unconventional resignation from his office he announced yesterday (Venus in Aquarius square Saturn in Scorpio yesterday), which is not only in his best interest as he suffers from ill health that is only getting worse, but is also a sign of a sense of integrity and social responsibility that supersedes a rather selfish clinging to power and thus to a position for which he isn’t in shape anymore. Recognizing these different aspects to the situation, he’s rewriting history (Uranus in octile aspects to the nodal axis), which actually gives the Catholic Church a chance to introduce new politics and reform itself in the process. The question is will the “Holy Sea” recognize this opportunity?
Personally, I’m having a day off on which I have to catch up with many unfinished projects (Mercury in Pisces square Vesta in Gemini), which has become a matter of urgency or necessity as new causes have appeared on the horizon already (Pallas in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn and sextile Vesta in Gemini). So, I better get down to business and start working on crossing these things off my list.
