Astro-Notes on March 1, 2013 – persistence

Retrograde Mercury in Pisces forms a semi-sextile with Pallas in Aries, suggesting that after we’ve reviewed our dreams and ideals we adjust our strategies accordingly in order to be able to move ahead with our plans. The Sun in Pisces casts a semi-square to Juno in Capricorn, a sextile to Pluto in Capricorn and a trine to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio, urging us to take concrete steps toward the realization of our relationship goals and use our self-image in the ways we imagine our role to influence the situation and to gain control over our circumstances, especially after we renewed our sense of structure. With Mars in Pisces engaging in the perfecting Ceres-Eris sextile (square Ceres in Gemini, semi-sextile Eris in Aries), we’re challenged to set clear intentions in regard to the maternal principle and the sources of support we can count on and follow up with initiatives for the sake of our self-interests, thereby taking advantage of the situation by adapting our competitive spirit in a way that is self-nurturing and furthers our authentic development, understanding that there’s more than one way or avenue that will lead to success as long as we don’t give in to defeat and keep trying. After the Moon’s ingress to Scorpio at 12:33 pm EST could we feel renewed and empowered and thus ready to evolve.

Tarot card of the day is “Strength”, suggesting that we draw upon our inner strength and the power of our spirit and will. With compassion and understanding can we handle the most difficult situation and also tame the beast within. We have the ability to be tolerant, forgiving and accepting and thus can gently influence our environment. Furthermore, we can be assured that we have enough endurance to see things through to their end and get a lot accomplished.
