Mars in Pisces’ sextile to Juno in Capricorn offers us an opportunity to realize relationship goals through action that is
guided by our ideals and visions or revelations we received. This is the prelude to the Pisces New Moon that will transpire at 3:50 pm EDT.
The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon at 21:24 Pisces states:
“A prophet carrying tablets with the new law is walking down the slopes of Mount Sinai. Keynote: The need to bring down to the level of everyday existence the clear realizations made manifest in a great ‘peak experience’ – MANDATE.”
(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Pages 282-283)
A moment of enlightenment reveals a new way of life that requires the successful conveyance of the rules and terms this is based upon. With retrograde Mercury in Pisces in semi-sextile aspect to Uranus in Aries, we adjust our focus toward the future. Insights derived from reflecting upon our situation together with the conclusions we reached in this regard complement our progress and the changes we know we have to initiate.
Tarot card of the day is the “Queen of Swords”, suggesting that we’re finding mental clarity, apply logic and objectivity to a situation and work on problem-solving and detachment from emotions in order to be able to judge and discern impartially. We’re cutting to the chase and get straight to the point. The situation demands that we come into our own by finding independence and autonomy and having the courage of our convictions.
In accordance with the Sabian Symbol, a new Pope will appear on the world stage during this new cycle. The card of the Pope or Hierophant in the Tarot symbolizes a bridge between heaven and earth, which is very much in the sense of the image of ‘Moses carrying the tablets with the new rules down the slopes of Mount Sinai’. For me personally, things have changed to a point of ‘no return’ (Mercury Rx in Pisces semi-sextile to Uranus in Aries). As the season nears its end, this part of the waiting game is over. Now the right opportunity has to come along so that I can make my move and work on the achievement of my goals (Mars in Pisces sextile Juno in Capricorn). This New Moon is conjunct my natal Moon and is thus also a lunar return for me.
