Astro-Notes on March 30, 2013 – focusing on permanence

Both, Venus and the Sun in Aries cast a quincunx to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio, calling for a readjustment to chores and other obligations or responsibilities for the sake of convention and also to be able to spend time together on this long weekend, during which we prepare ourselves for “resurrection”, while removing the last obstacles out of our way. For me this means I have to go back to work today for economical reasons after I had a paid day off. Pallas made ingress to Taurus at 7:37 am EDT, where she will be traversing until May 29, which corresponds to a period when we employ tried and used strategies, focus on building, securing and sustaining and when our personal politics are aimed at validation, gratification and contentment. After the Moon’s ingress to Sagittarius late at night at 11:13 pm EDT will we feel more spontaneous, optimistic and enterprising as we seek to enrich our experiences.

Tarot card of the day is the “10 of Pentacles”, suggesting that we’re seeking permanence and looking for a solution that will last. Therefore, we’re working on the creation of a lasting foundation by moving beyond makeshift arrangements and through a consensus of vision. This card refers to a climax in our foundational life, a culmination, completion or achievement we’ve reached that is the result of our material and tangible efforts and allows us to make a commitment to a sustainable future. We’re now investing in long-term benefits, knowing that we need a consistent approach in order to achieve success that will stand the test of time.
