Astro-Notes on April 20, 2013 – a taste of freedom

A semi-square between the Sun in Taurus and Jupiter in Gemini urges us to remain flexible in the pursuit of the possibilities and opportunities open to us in order to be able to sustain our own prospering. As Mercury meets Uranus in conjunction in Aries and casts a semi-sextile to Pallas in Taurus a new cycle begins that combines the way we think, communicate and connect with newly arising trends and changes in the initiating, determined and motivated sign Aries and this complements our politics of persistence and tenacity. Consequently, unexpected and other inspiring news, sudden invitations or upgraded information will spur us into taking risks today for the sheer joy of excitement and pleasure, which could liberate us from our routine. Mars made ingress to Taurus at 7:48 am EDT, where he will be traversing until May 31, which corresponds to a period when we seek to build up our motivation and drive, to bring our intentions to fruition, to persevere in our activities and to assert ourselves insistently and productively. After the Moon’s ingress to Virgo at 9:08 pm EDT will we roll up our sleeves and focus on being efficient and methodical, while starting to clean up our act and create order.

Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Cups”, representing some sort of beginning or renewal, which could herald a positive message we respond to in an emotional manner. Our intuition is sharp today and creative energy is trying to burst forth into our consciousness. Therefore, we need to be open to receive, express our emotions and let our heart lead the way. This card encourages us to take a fresh perspective on a difficult issue and to allow our creative Self to come to the fore so that a sense of freedom may reappear in our life.

In the news: Bostoners are breathing easy after the bombing suspect who was still at large for most of the day yesterday has been arrested. Personally, I’m divided about tonight as I have an invitation for a birthday party in the town where I work and to which I only could go after closing up the store. But that’s not really the point. I don’t like the weather. It’s snowing here and supposed to be like that all day and night, a prospect that does not appeal to me at all, especially if I have to drive.

Oh dear, WordPress looks different yet again!!!
