Mercury in Taurus’s opposition to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio this morning confronted us with an inner
conflict that concerned our usual way of thinking when faced with deadlines and other limitations we had to accept, whereby stubborn insistence could have gotten the best of us, even though deep within we knew better – we still could have had a hard time to simply let go, but might ultimately haven’t resisted the ‘inevitable’ anymore, based on an understanding that we cannot force what doesn’t come naturally to us. With Venus in Taurus entering the midpoint of the perfecting Ceres-Uranus square and thus casting tense semi-squares to both, it was critical that we validated our personal needs and wants as we were challenged to introduce new trends into our habitual, familiar patterns of seeking nurturing and bonding or even a new ‘season’ into our lives. A trine from Mars in Taurus to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn indicates that our persistence together with our approach paid off, which resulted in positive inner renewal and empowerment. Consequently, since the Moon’s ingress to Aries at 9:03 pm EDT have we felt more animated and motivated, ready to start over and do whatever is necessary.
Tarot card of the day is the “Wheel of Fortune”, indicating that the wheel has turned and we’ve entered a new phase of the cycle. We must accept that things can always turn around; that what goes around comes around. However, in every crisis lies opportunity. It’s not a time to be complacent; instead we have to actively follow this path now and go with the flow.
Personal Note: Even though I was pretty tired, I got up extra early this morning to be able to be at my daughter’s place in time for our planned day together. Although I had started to write this blog post, it has never worked out for me when I lack sleep. Therefore, I had to let it go and get ready instead to be able to enjoy the day. We had a wonderful time together by fantastic weather. Honestly, it couldn’t have been any better. We got a ‘taste of the beautiful life’ and smelled the roses along the way. I treated myself to Cappuccino and ice cream after our delicious lunch, something I haven’t had since I had to go on the candida diet and it did agree with me. The wheel has turned indeed.
