Mars in Gemini’s quincunx to the North Node in Scorpio (semi-sextile South Node in Taurus) together with Pallas in Gemini’s square to retrograde Chiron in Pisces show a necessary adjustment we made based on feeling pressured by circumstances beyond our control or deadlines we had to meet, which required action, even if the outcome is uncertain, less than ideal or unsatisfactory or not what we had imagined or envisioned. The fact remains that something had to be done – period. We can no longer afford to keep waiting for better conditions or hoping for miracles and other easy transitions or solutions, but have to deal with what fate throws our way and make the best or most of it. We have to keep in mind though that not everything is lost and that this is only a temporary fix – not something we have to live with forever. For now, it might just help us to get out of a victimizing or difficult situation. Sometime in the future, when we have more influence in or control over these matters, we can change things again. Nothing is written in stone. There is always room for negotiation. Thus, we might finally have learnt to be smart about it instead of shooting ourselves in the foot. Since the Moon’s ingress to Capricorn early this morning at 4:08 am EDT have we been feeling more grounded, resolute and organized as a result and are now prepared to tackle our day. This led us into the Capricorn Full Moon that transpired at 7:32 am EDT and brought the Gemini lunation cycle to its peak. Consequently, “traditional wisdom” (Sabian Symbol for the Gemini New Moon) or common sense is culminating now (or so we hope) through this ‘testing of our will’ and the ‘overcoming of stagnation’ (Sabian Symbol for the Sun in Cancer). Our ‘acceptance of defeat’ (Sabian Symbol for the Capricorn New Moon on January 11, 2013) at the time of the Capricorn New Moon back in January 2013 has triggered the ‘desire to prove ourselves’ (keynote for the Sabian Symbol for the Capricorn Full Moon) once again. We’re not surrendering, but are coming ‘out of the cold’ into the warmth of love and light (summer solstice).
The Sabian Symbol for the Moon at 2:09 Capricorn states:
“A human soul in its eagerness for new experiences seeks embodiment. Keynote: A powerful yearning for whatever will increase the scope and depth of one’s contacts with other living beings – DESIRE TO PROVE ONESELF.”
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 2:09 Cancer states:
”A man bundled in fur leads a shaggy deer. Keynote: The need to overcome stagnation and “cold” during trial of endurance – A TESTING OF THE WILL.”

Suggested by these symbolical images is the need for movement and maneuvering, no matter how tough the conditions are. As long as we set our mind to it, we can overcome even the most challenging circumstances. Our personal North Star is the light that will guide us on this journey toward our ‘true home’.
Tarot card of the day is “The World”, signifying the end of a cycle and/or the final and successful completion of any issue at hand. We have arrived at our destination or have reached the culmination of a long series of events. There is a dawning realization and understanding of where we are at. What goes around comes around.
