Since the Moon’s ingress to Aquarius at 3:26 am EDT have we been processing stirred up feelings, which were interfering with our sleep. We might have gotten up early or had to respond to changes – at least I did, because I got called in to work when I was just getting ready to start my day and as a consequence had to cancel on a client. Thus, I’ve been at work all day – the pace had definitely accelerated for me with this shift – and now I’m trying to catch up (once again) with everything. Mighty Jupiter will change signs tonight, from flighty, mutable, dualistic (androgynous) Mercury-ruled Gemini to soft, cardinal, motherly Moon-ruled Cancer. The ingress will transpire at 9:39 pm EDT and the transit will last until July 16, 2014. During that period will we seek to nurture our social sense and life, to support concepts, viewpoints, principles and beliefs we hold about our life, to sustain our personal quest, truth, direction and life philosophy, to foster our growth, expansion and cultural integration and to rely on our as well as traditional knowledge, wisdom and ‘greatness’.
Tarot card of the day is “The Hermit”, suggesting that we’re entering a stage of introspection, where we need to look for the answers within, thereby engaging in soul searching. It’s a solitary quest, because the truths we’re seeking do not lie in the external world, but within us. Therefore, we begin to re-evaluate our goals and might change our overall direction. In recognizing that each of our thoughts and actions is a brick we use to build our lives, we partake in the creation of our own reality. We have to find the light within and allow ourselves to be touched and illuminated by it as well as help to light the way for others. Alas, all the darkness that seems to surround us cannot blot out the light. Moreover, there is an emphasis on peace and patience as well as on accepting the limitations of time and age. The Hermit also symbolizes a taskmaster, who leads with purpose and wisdom gathered from years of experience. He furthermore represents completion. Thus, we may well progress to a new stage of life, but need to remove any difficulties from a current situation in order to gain perspective.
