Astro-Notes on July 2, 2013 – creative restlessness

The Moon is in Taurus all day as we’re settling back into our usual routines. Although we might be inclined toward complacency, the sum total of hard aspects, beginning with the square between Ceres in Leo and retrograde Saturn in Scorpio, with the latter also receiving a tense sesqui-quadrate from Pallas in Gemini, and continuing with another stressful octile (sesqui-quadrate) between Vesta in Cancer and retrograde Chiron in Pisces, push our buttons. We cannot rest on our laurels, keep delaying or avoiding certain matters and wasting our day away. It’s time to get our act together, start moving and deal with things and situations as they pop up, while setting up appointments, taking care of personal projects and causes, mentally preparing and putting our heart into it. Before I completed this post I went to the hair salon to finally arrange for an appointment and ran into a woman I had met there last month (Mercury retrograde), who spontaneously invited me to her home, because she needs my services and advice. She’s also hosting a party, where I will have an opportunity to meet new people who might be interested in my services as well or at least in a workshop. Darlene, my friend here in town, will pick me up shortly.

Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Wands”, suggesting that we can expect the unexpected today. Change is encouraged. We’re rediscovering our purpose and source of vitality, experiencing creative restlessness and enthusiasm for which we need to find an outlet. Thus, we’re positive and spontaneous, excited about the possibilities, step into the limelight, are passionate about our projects and take the plunge. There are new possibilities, calling upon us to express ourselves from our heart.
