Astro-Notes on July 4, 2013 – awaiting news

Early in the morning did the Sun in Cancer perfect his square to Uranus in Aries and Ceres in Leo her quincunx to retrograde Neptune in Pisces, which means that if all went well and we went out of our own way or were able to break out of unproductive patterns, progress has been made and we protected ourselves from falling short of common expectations. It might not have happened in the ‘traditional’ sense though, instead we were left to our ‘own devices’ and had to make the necessary sacrifices – whether we liked it or not. In the end, it’ll be for our own best. Since the Moon’s ingress to Gemini at 5:21 am EDT have we been feeling the busyness and restlessness related to this sign and could therefore be mentally preoccupied with a variety of moods or sentiments. With Pallas in Gemini receiving a semi-square from Ceres in Leo and a semi-sextile from retrograde Mercury in Cancer, it is critical that we focus our attention and mind under these conditions and concentrate on personally important matters that need to be dealt with, while also reconnecting with people who have proved to be supportive in the past.

Tarot card of the day is the “Hanged Man”, demanding from us to let go and surrender to the experience, end the struggle, accept what is and hang in there for now. We are in an in-between state and also at a cross-roads, where decisions are postponed, even though there’s a sense of urgency to act. Therefore, we may simply just want to wait for better opportunities. There is a chance that we could see a situation from a new angle and consequently, overturn our priorities or upend the old order. This card also represents someone who has chosen the path of sacrifice and forsaken instant gratification in order to accomplish a higher goal.
