Tarot card of the day is “The Tower”, signifying inevitable change or at least different conditions as our routines are getting shaken up. If handled well it can bring liberation and freedom. There might be shock due to the suddenness of the event as well as upheaval, but if we’ve been stuck in a rut this will help us to climb out of it. Things are transforming and evolving beyond our control. An era might end – one way or another.
Tarot card of the day is the “Knight of Cups”, a card that is associated with transition and free flowing emotional energy. New ideas, invitations and proposals are implicated. Also, we’re inspired and full of zeal as we serve our desires. We’re on a journey of imagination and creativity, where our idealism and love principle will be put to a test. Therefore, we’ll have to follow our heart in order to find our path.
In the news: In the Syria crisis U.S. president Obama considers unilateral response – allies and the public are understandably war-weary. Personally, I believe we have more options than just retaliation. This would be a chance to respond differently or at least to hand the Nobel Peace Prize back he received undeservedly. The Sun in Virgo in this critical aspect to Eris highlights a facet of our true or authentic nature, while “painting it in black or white”. Meanwhile, people around here are heading into the long weekend and Ed and I are trying to set up a show for tonight 7 pm EDT – details will follow later.
Tarot card of the day is the “The Star”, suggesting renewed hope and faith. We’re filled with inspiration and optimism and reach for our highest potential. As a result, we pour our energy into a good cause or dedicate ourselves to a long-range vision. Moreover, we could have a ‘shining’ moment and be recognized for our higher qualities, all of which compels us to go on.
Tarot card of the day is the “Ace of Swords”, indicating a new way of thinking or the conception of an idea or the start of a new project. Our mental powers have been awakened and we’re seeing through illusions, cutting through the confusion, dispelling doubts, finding out the facts, thinking our way through or championing a cause. It’s a time of great insight and mental clarity, which could result in a break-through or aha-moment as well as a greater understanding.
Personal Notes: Yesterday evening I started recording a short video to share my experiences and impressions of the day with you. Since I’ve been on the computer for most of the day I thought I might as well give this a shot. However, in the middle of it I got interrupted by somebody I’m connected with on Facebook, who kept constantly mailing me and then I heard from yet more people. So, I had to leave it at that as I wasn’t able anymore to concentrate my thoughts and focus on what I was trying to convey. It was such a typical Third Quarter Moon experience – all the attempts to put things into perspective and context and at first it seemed as though the whole undertaking was futile and just a waste of my time, but now it looks as though we’re getting closer to our goals and that things are on an upward swing.
Tarot card of the day is “Temperance”, suggesting a need for emotional stability, which can be achieved through moderation and a commitment to sobriety. We need to find middle ground or the middle way, avoid excess, foster cooperation, cleanse our body and mind, heal ourselves and recognize the flow in our life. As we observe the nature of energy, we learn how to mix the right ingredients in our own life to maintain equilibrium and see all imbalances drifting away. Instead of sweeping changes subtle shifts need to take place. With renewed energy and vigor comes the promise of new growth. Life is all about timing… the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable… attainable. Have the patience and wait it out.
In the news: A military strike from the U.S. and it’s allies on Syria might be happening as early as Thursday = Venus in Libra square Jup in Cancer = adding another war to international relations – while Mercury in Virgo is planning the details and of course with Eris in the mix – war is what we know and do best. Don’t get me wrong – there are ‘justifiable’ reasons behind this approach as the matter stands now. Besides, we have a responsibility to act when atrocities are committed – but why did nobody do anything about the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, per example?
Retrograde Juno in Aquarius’ square to Saturn in Scorpio challenges us to overcome devolving, deteriorating and undesirable conditions in relationship situations that have changed suddenly. With Venus in Libra engaged in a quincunx to retrograde Chiron in Pisces and an opposition to retrograde Uranus in Aries in addition to the Sun in Virgo’s opposition to retrograde Neptune in Pisces and Mercury in Virgo’s semi-square to Pallas in Cancer, we have to adjust our values and preferences to a wound or loss we suffered and evaluate the future anew, now that the tide seems to have turned against us and we’ve become overwhelmed or victimized by these developments and experiences. We certainly didn’t see that coming our way or would have expected such twists and turns. Therefore is it essential that we come up with workable solutions that support our politics and help us coping and dealing with our daily chores.
Tarot card of the day is “The Sun”, which represents energy, enthusiasm and us taking care of the inner child. This card gives us strength and puts us in a position where we can share our highest qualities. We know where we are heading; our path is illuminated. Moreover, we reflect on the value of simplicity and get back to the simple pleasures. Our mind feels clear and we feel enlightened.
Tarot card of the day is “The Hanged Man”, urging us to let go and surrender to the experience, ending the struggle, accepting what is and hanging in there for now. We may want to suspend any decision-making and simply just wait for better opportunities. There is a chance that we could see a situation from a new angle and consequently, overturn our priorities or upend the old order. This card also represents someone who has chosen the path of sacrifice and forsaken instant gratification in order to accomplish a higher goal.
