Astro-Notes on September 1, 2013 – togetherness

This morning, the Sun in Virgo left a trine to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, on which he followed up with a semi-square to Pallas in Cancer and a sextile to the North Node in Scorpio (trine South Node in Taurus). Consequently, after we’ve mastered our personal affairs and accomplished the tasks we set out to do, thereby reigning in tendencies toward worry, anxiety and criticism or nitpicking, it was essential that we continued in an effective way and focused on home and family or traditions in order to make the most of our day or life, which will ultimately lead to Self-improvement in the future. With Venus in Libra engaged in a sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Neptune in Pisces we had to review our higher values and ideals in our interactions with others and also in the way we seek balance and sophistication. Since the Moon’s ingress to Leo at 8:00 pm EDT have we been more self-involved and playful or creative.

Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Cups”, representing some sort of beginning or renewal, which could herald a positive message we respond to in an emotional manner. Our intuition is sharp today and creative energy is trying to burst forth into our consciousness. Therefore, we need to be open to receive, express our emotions and let our heart lead the way. This card encourages us to take a fresh perspective on a difficult issue and to allow our creative Self to come to the fore so that a sense of freedom may reappear in our life.

Personal Notes: I spent some quality time with my daughter. We didn’t have a plan, but since she had to do her grocery shopping, we made a trip to London, browsed through a few nice stores and strolled through the fall fest in Victoria Park downtown. Even if we had just sat together at her place, spending time together is better than spending time alone. 🙂
