Astro-Notes on September 20, 2013 – reflecting on our personal value system

Venus in Scorpio moves into the Ceres-Chiron opposition with a sextile to the former and a trine to the latter and then follows up with a quincunx to retrograde Uranus in Aries. Thus, we have a chance to do something about the conflict between the maternal and the wounding and healing principle as it concerns the issue what we can actually afford and what we truly deserve if we choose so and judge our material and relationship circumstances with the desire for fulfillment aided by heightened self-esteem, while adjusting to the need to start over or afresh. As Venus’ dispositor, Pluto, who has been in retrograde motion since April 12, stations direct at 8:59 Capricorn at 11:28 am EDT, the inner restructuring process we underwent during that period can now be used to further our own ends from a position of empowerment. With Mercury in Libra engaged in a tense sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Neptune in Pisces though, it is critical that we remain aware of certain expectations we might have and idealized conditions we might imagine or longing for before we agree to or sign anything.

Tarot card of the day is the “10 of Cups”, suggesting that we’re calling a truce and restoring harmony where it is needed. We’re working for peace and reaffirming our commitment to bonds. Thus, we create an atmosphere where we can relax, while reducing stress and tensions, and consequently have a chance to experience serenity and contentment. Generally, we can be more at ease. This card is reflective of our personal value system and of what we believe will bring us the ultimate fulfillment and happiness in life.

In the news: Family lived with dead man in Hamilton house for months – this certainly shows a (‘morbid’ – Venus in Scorpio) conflict between the maternal and the wounding and healing principle
Personally, I’ll be leaving for Stratford later on today to view a couple more apartments. The ‘planetary setup’ plus Tarot card looks promising in this regard and to top it off – stationary Pluto is the ruler of my 4th house of home. So, hopefully, I will find the right place, even though I have to walk around in the rain today (Mercury sesqui Neptune).
