Astro-Notes on October 2, 2013 – the creative spark

Vesta in Virgo moves into the Saturn-Chiron-Uranus configuration (sextile Saturn in Scorpio, opposition to Chiron Rx in Pisces and quincunx to Uranus Rx in Aries), while Venus in Scorpio casts a semi-square to Pluto in Capricorn and Mercury in Scorpio a square to Juno in Aquarius. Additionally, Mars in Leo trines retrograde Eris in Aries and the Mercury shadow period begins. Therefore, choices we make today, especially in response to offerings, trends and conditions we encounter or are presented with, can help us to serve the things we hold sacred and thus to dedicate us to healing, release and closure. This, however, is depending on our attitude and how we react to provocations, temptations and ‘incidences’, in particular those we could have prevented if we had paid better attention or were better organized. In any case, mindfulness is essential and so is awareness of ‘darker’ thoughts or else we might have regrets later on. Instead, if we let us be guided by inspiration and use a creative approach, trusting that everything will turn out well in the end, we can give expression to our authentic nature and at the same time feel deeply content.

Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Wands”, suggesting news related to business or otherwise and a positive awareness of the future or ‘to expect the unexpected’. There are new possibilities, which demand from us to be courageous and daring as we rediscover purpose. This card represents ‘a new dawn’ that is a new beginning of a phase in which the creative spark must be developed and given a new lease on life, calling upon us to express ourselves from our heart. It’s a day to be positive and spontaneous as well as lively and energetic, when we should pursue our creative vision with enthusiasm.
