Astro-Notes on April 20, 2014 – Easter SUNday

Today, Jupiter in Cancer perfected his square to Uranus in

Aries together with his opposition to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, thereby intensifying the tensions of the cardinal t-square. This happened with Mercury in Aries in opposition to retrograde Ceres in Libra and Venus forming a conjunction with Chiron in Pisces. Consequently, we have been feeling the pressure of customs and traditions we had to perpetuate and all the complex relationship rituals this entailed, while we were getting ready to make the compromises and accommodations required from us for the sake of celebrations and to be able to get together and enjoy each others’ company. Although, it might all have felt a bit overwhelming or too much to have planned for one day, in review the sacrifices were well worth our time and at the end of the day we are more relieved and grateful than we were in a long time. Thus, as this new sub-cycle starts, that combines the love principle with the wounding and healing principle in the sign of attunement, we have a chance to become aware of and transcend attachments and values, which keep us trapped in a prison of our own making. Therefore, today, we may have reflected on the things that truly matter to us as we enjoyed all the good moments and wonderful people in our life, while being in better spirits and grateful for these blessings.

My daughter had picked me up from work yesterday afternoon and then spent the night. We had a light dinner out on my balcony, while we were soaking up the warm rays of the Sun. Early today we drove to Alliston to visit “Mom”. So nice to see her and the “rest of the family” again, inclusive little dog Ruby. It was just a lovely day. Everybody was content and appreciative of the good moments. Discussions turned around our roots and family trees and between my daughter and me around how blissfully ignorant some people we know closely remain in regard to shooting themselves in the foot. 🙂

Tarot card of the day is the Queen of Pentacles”, suggesting that we strive to create a warm, secure and nurturing environment, where we find a use for everything. We need to focus on doing the same for ourselves and invest in a calm and balanced life. Thus, we need to be resourceful and practical when dealing with others and work on solutions for our present circumstances. It’s a day to learn to love and accept ourselves, to take care of ourselves and to replenish inwardly.
