Wow! It’s May already! Seems rather unreal for us here after half a year of winter and nothing, except for the first early spring bloomers, really in bloom yet. Moreover, it has been raining for the last few days and will continue to do so at least until the end of the week. So, we are a bit behind and still chilling under overcast skies even though this month begins with the cross-quarter day of Beltane, which celebrates the fertility and growth of the season, supposed to be in ‘full swing’ or at its peak now, this is not evident here yet. However, we just experienced a New Moon in the fruitful earth sign Taurus that was a powerful Solar Eclipse and therefore, it is time for us to actualize the intentions we set at the beginning of the astrological year with the Spring Equinox (yep, it’s been almost 6 weeks since then). Mercury in Taurus’s sextile

that transpired yesterday afternoon (and which I forgot to list/mention – so typical for this aspect) helped me to reflect on our connection with nature (on the ‘as within so without’) and the current phase of transition we’re undergoing in this regard, which furthermore revealed our ‘out-of-touch-ness’ (or far off schedule) with these ‘solar sabbaticals’ and the sense of woundedness we are feeling as a result of these developments. Therefore, today we’re making adjustments as Venus in Pisces
casts a quincunx
to the North Node in Libra (semi-sextile South Node in Aries)
and the Sun in Taurus
another one to retrograde Mars in Libra
by shifting our priorities toward our future prospects we need to be able to juggle and letting go off the manner in which we usually express ourselves to meet our reassessed intentions. Thus, instead of focusing on our wounds we will be focusing on healing and this requires cooperation, compromise and team-work.
Tarot card of the day is the “5 of Wands”, depicting a day of struggles, restlessness and also playfulness when a lot of ideas are floating around and we could encounter conflicts or quarrels – inside and outside. We might be bothered by trivialities as well as overwhelmed by the pressure and demands on us. It is important to not lose sight of the bigger picture and let these minor vexations deplete our energies. Therefore, we need to get a grasp on these fluctuating energies and whims and carefully assess our attitude, while opening us to the changes they bring into our life.
