Venus in Aries’ square to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn challenges us to overcome our inner demons and end the struggle. We need to realize it’s not worth it and that we can do better than that, especially after what we’ve learnt and witnessed recently. Our ‘sins’ – whether they are of commission or omission – will eventually catch up with us. There is no way around this and the higher the stakes are (or our position/standing is) the more we have to lose (or the deeper we can fall). As the Taurus lunation cycle culminates in the Scorpio Full Moon at 3:15 pm EDT, the seed impulse that sounded forth with the Scorpio New Moon/Solar Eclipse on November 3, 2013, also climaxes and thus, the ‘fully decorated Christmas tree’ (Sabian Symbol for the Taurus New Moon) has turned into an ‘Indian warrior with human scalps hanging from his belt’ (Sabian Symbol for the Sun in Taurus) as the ‘official embassy ball’ (Sabian Symbol for the Scorpio New Moon/Solar Eclipse) and ‘group consciousness flowering at the highest level’ led to ‘the sermon on the mount’ (Sabian Symbol for the Scorpio Full Moon).
The Sabian Symbol for the Moon at 23:54 Scorpio states:
“After having heard an inspired individual deliver his ‘sermon on the mount’, crowds are returning home. Keynote: The need to incorporate inspiring experiences and teachings into everyday living – CHALLENGE TO TRANSFORMATION.”
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 23:54 Taurus states:
“An Indian warrior riding fiercely, human scalps hanging from his belt. Keynote: The aggressiveness of human instincts when fighting for their earthly base of operation – VIOLENCE FOR SURVIVAL.”

Implied by these symbolical pictures is that ‘heads are rolling’ and ‘people are being sent home or let go’ as a statement or consequence of ‘religiousness’ or a greater truth, even judgment or fate, we have to surrender to. With the Full Moon in semi-square aspect to retrograde Mars in Libra (Sun in Taurus sesqui-quadrate Mars) and Mercury in Gemini engaged in another sesqui-quadrate to the North Node in Libra (semi-square South Node in Aries) in addition to a quincunx to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, it has become critical to review our actions and assess our intentions, in particular in regard to ‘our survival’ and how we want to conduct ourselves in the future based on these latest revelations. If anything, these experiences teach us to become more civilized if we want to be able to co-exist peacefully and not ending up like the poor souls on the Indian’s belt. Therefore, instead of forcing or bullying our way (using aggression or being rude, reckless and primitive), we need to listen to our higher Self and embrace higher values and ideals.
Tarot card of the day is “Judgment”, suggesting that we’re having a day of reckoning, when we can find absolution or are heeding a call. Therefore, it’s important that we use good judgment, release all sorrows and lift ourselves up. We might have experienced an epiphany that opens ourselves up to a new possibility, which is like an awakening to new life that can lead to renewal and change.
