In addition to the perfection of yesterday’s main aspects (Juno in Taurus quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries and Pallas in Virgo opposite Neptune Rx in Pisces and semi-square Jupiter in Cancer), retrograde Mercury in Cancer casts a semi-square to Venus in Taurus, who is also involved in a quincunx to Vesta in Libra, a sextile to Chiron in Pisces and an opposition to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio, while Mars in Libra forms a sesqui-quadrate to Juno in Taurus. Thus, not only rained it more and got really humid here (and remember – as within so without), but it seems as though we’re treading water. Consequently, we’re exhausted and tired – most likely haven’t slept well these last couple of days either – and therefore, we just want to get over with it all. However, this is a critical time for evaluation and validation of our worth or worthiness in regard to talents, resources and likability as we review past records together with the latest communication or documents in order to assess how well we fit in or are suited for the position, cope and comply with everything. Here in Canada, it is voting day – not for me though, because I’m a Canadian resident, not a citizen. But I had my review at work today and I was pretty satisfied with it, well aware that my boss has to use certain criteria for this purpose and needs to leave some room for improvement, more achievements and other goals to meet. So, there is a chance for both – healing and hurting. This is the lead-up to the Sagittarius Full Moon, which will transpire at the beginning of the new day at 0:11 am EDT.
The Sabian Symbol for the Moon at 22:05 Sagittarius states:
“A group of immigrants as they fulfill the requirements of entrance into the new country. Keynote: Consciously accepting the ways of a new stage of experience, in readiness for the opportunities it will bring – TRANSITION.”
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 22:05 Gemini states:
”Three fledglings in a nest high in a tree. Keynote: The growth of spiritually creative processes in an at least relatively integrated mind – CREATIVE INTEGRATION.”
(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Pages 223-224 and 104-105)
As the impulse seeded at the time of the Gemini New Moon culminates together with the one that sounded forth with the Sagittarius New Moon on December 2, 2013, the ‘aroused strikers’ (Sabian Symbol for the Gemini New Moon) have become ‘immigrants’ (Sabian Symbol for the Sagittarius Full Moon) and their ‘revolt against privileges’ (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Gemini New Moon) resulted into ‘transition’ or passing of the test (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Sagittarius Full Moon) and the ‘entrance into a new country’, whereas ‘the return to the body in order to balance the stress’ (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Sagittarius New Moon) resulted in ‘creative integration’ (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Gemini Sun).
Implied by these symbolical pictures is furthermore that in order to broaden our horizons, expand the range of our experiences or widen our outreach, we have to leave the ‘safety of our nest’ behind and success shall be granted, though only if we take these first tentative and necessary steps. A quincunx connects the Sagittarius Full Moon to Jupiter in Cancer and a trine to Eris in Aries, showing an adjustment as the outcome of this ‘climax’ or ‘revelation’ that requires from us to support our options and take care of our growth or self-development, knowing that we can and will succeed if we only believe in ourselves and the opportunities that are all around us. Indeed, we could have scored higher than we thought would be possible or stood a better chance at winning.
Tarot card of the day is the “10 of Pentacles”, suggesting that we’re seeking out permanence and look for a solution that will last. Therefore, we are working on the creation of a lasting foundation by moving beyond makeshift arrangements and through a consensus of vision. This card refers to a climax in our foundational life, a culmination, completion or achievement we’ve reached that is the result of our material and tangible efforts and allows us to make a commitment to a sustainable future. We’re now investing in long-term benefits, knowing that we need a consistent approach in order to achieve success that will stand the test of time.
It’s been a hectic day for me, typical for a Full Moon in a fire sign. My internet connection was unreliable in the morning and then my girlfriend dropped by at work and asked me if we could have lunch together. She actually brought me a piece of her home-made pumpkin pie, which was absolutely delicious. After that I had my review and then I’ve been running around like a chicken without a head to still get a project done. I took the bus all the way to my girlfriend’s house after work to pick up some fresh spinach leaves and herbs from her garden. No wonder, it’s so late already!
