Astro-Notes on June 13, 2014 – Sag Full Moon on Friday, the 13th

In the aftermath of the Sagittarius Full Moon, the earth has been saturated and the air refreshed.

Ontario got its first elected female premier (the double emphasis on the lunar cycle) after a surprising majority win of the liberals. As I had suggested in yesterday’s post, defying almost all predictions, Wynne earned a convincing win both in the popular vote and the number of seats (I wrote ‘we could score higher….). This is the end of a period from which we gained some valuable lessons about shared values and resources in regard to the wounding and healing principle with retrograde Saturn in Scorpio in trine aspect to Chiron in Pisces (as we moved from the 10 of Pentacles to the Ace of Pentacles it’s obvious that an era ends and another one begins). Venus in Taurus triggered this aspect with an opposition and a trine, aided by Juno in Taurus’ quincunx to the North Node in Libra and sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn together with Pallas in Virgo’s semi-square to Jupiter in Cancer and sesqui-quadrate to Eris in Aries (in fact, the Sag Full Moon is in quincunx aspect to Jupiter and in trine to Eris). Therefore, the proposed austerity measures of the conservatives didn’t sit well with the larger public. If anything, Taurus is about accumulating and prospering as well as owning (having everything provided) and emotional security. So, now that we can start over with the majority of us feeling empowered and relieved, we have to access and draw from our inner resources, while bringing forth our competitive spirit and tackling the job that has been handed to us. We want to show that we can manage our affairs and do better – for ourselves and for the sake of our larger goals.

Tarot card of the day is the Ace of Pentacles”, indicating a new beginning that involves the material aspect of our lives. New investments and business ventures are becoming available. We can proceed with trust and take advantage of what works for us, while focusing on concrete results and on the manifestation of our goals. We can make a real-world impact; we’re experiencing growth, a feeling of prosperity and abundance, we flourish and draw to us what we need. Moreover, we operate from a known position, have a support system and can achieve tangible results.
