Astro-Notes on July 7, 2014 – unwavering in the pursuit of our goals

Yep, today is the day I’m going to change my work schedule, routine and overall approach of a situation, where I need to be and stay on top of developments (Pallas Rx in Virgo quincunx Uranus in Aries + Venus in Gemini square Pallas, sextile Uranus and quincunx Saturn). Therefore, I stayed up late yesterday to get used to this new rhythm. Not an easy feat, mind you. My body is used to the early getups and usually ‘shuts down’ between 9 and 10 pm. In time I’ll have made that adjustment though, no doubt. The first day is usually the toughest ordeal. During my vacation I will be on a ‘later’ schedule anyway. Meanwhile, a sesqui-quadrate has formed between the Vesta-Ceres conjunction in Libra and retrograde Neptune in Pisces that is urging us to review the expectations and projections we have in regard to others and especially what matters of support and commitments concerns so that we can reach agreements and arrange for things without meddling unnecessarily with routines and procedures. It is important to get on the same page and thus to cooperate and work together or unite toward the common goal. If we are willing to make a few compromises, others might meet as half-way and then everything will be easier for all parties concerned.

Tarot card of the day is the Knight of Pentacles”, a card that contains an element of perfectionism and brings good news in financial matters. It indicates that we are unwavering in the pursuit of a goal, assess our circumstances candidly, are diligent and industrious, follow a routine and pay attention to the mundane and normal parts of life. We assume responsibility and take charge of a situation by accomplishing what is expected from us. This card has a grounding influence.
