A Total Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Sun, Moon and Earth align in close proximity to the Moon’s Nodes and the Moon passes through the deeper shadow cast by the Earth, the umbra, where no direct light from the Sun can reach her. However, the Earth’s atmosphere refracts light, while at the same time filtering it, which illuminates the Moon with a series of varying red colors, depending on the prevailing conditions. Lunar Eclipses are felt internal and can trigger unconscious and psychic issues, which constitute our shadow material. With the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse conjoined to the South Node, we can expect a culmination of events that began in October 2013 and subsequent release of unbalanced emotions attached to this we have a chance to filter through a ‘psychic lens’. Therefore, the impulse that sounded forth with the Aries New Moon back in spring on March 30, bringing forth the need for a ‘revision of our attitude’ (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Aries New Moon on March 30)has led to ‘repotentialization’ (keyword for the Aries Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse) and this ‘repolarization of inner energies and creative centralization’ (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for Libra New Moon from September 24) leads to ‘reconstruction and repair’ (keywords of the Sabian Symbol for the Sun in Libra).
The Sabian Symbol for Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon at 15:05 Aries states:
“Nature spirits are seen at work in the light of sunset. Keynote: Attunement to the potency of invisible forces of nature – REPOTENTIALIZATION.”
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 15:05 Libra states:
“After a storm a boat landing stands in need of reconstruction. Keynote: The need to keep in operation steady links between the vast Unconscious and the ego-consciousness – REPAIR.”

With retrograde Uranus conjunct the Lunar Eclipse and retrograde Chiron in semi-sextile aspect to it, we’re starting over or anew, but this requires that we have to do things differently this time around or we’ll fail again or fall short of expectations and problems will never get resolved or conditions will never change. This means we have to detach ourselves emotionally from the situation, reign in our lower, instinctual nature and become aware of the trappings of the ego and power trips or victim consciousness in particular. Consequently, we’re challenged to make better choices and to assess and balance our values, relationships and priorities fairly and indiscriminately in order to be able to manage circumstances beyond our control. Based on this insight, revelation, understanding, conclusion or even liberation we reached, we’re strongly motivated to get on top of our personal world and succeed with our endeavors, while holding ourselves to high standards.
Tarot card of the day is the “Knight of Wands”, suggesting that an important matter is likely to enter our life and demand our attention. Therefore, we have to be ready to react quickly and to go with the flow. Our present situation will soon change and we have to make important decisions. Consequently, we’re charging forth with ideas and visions to make things happen, while tackling any challenge that stands in our way. It is important that we show ambition, are high-spirited, strong-willed and determined and take calculated risks.
