We took advantage of opportunities to reach out to others and found out about proceedings, the newest trends and what our friends and social circle and in a larger context – certain groups and the collective – have been up to and these revelations could have surprised, excited or even shocked us, causing us to react promptly and spontaneously, from ‘the heart’ or ego, depending on the situation, whereby we didn’t hide how we feel about this. Consequently, we’re reviewing our options and adjusting our intentions and actions accordingly. As the Aquarius lunation cycle culminates with the Leo Full Moon, the impulse that sounded forth at the time of the Leo New Moon on July 26, 2014 will also be peaking. Thus, “the old adobe mission in California” (Sabian Symbol for the Aquarius New Moon) has become “a pageant with spectacular floats” (Sabian Symbol for the Leo Full Moon) and the “concretization of an ideal” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Aquarius New Moon) is achieved by way of a “public demonstration” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Leo Full Moon), whereas the “formerly dressed elderly man standing near trophies he brought back from a hunting experience” (Sabian Symbol for the Leo New Moon of July 2014) or, in other words, “the masculine will to conquer his animal nature”(keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Leo New Moon) is fulfilled by the “happily singing two lovebirds” (Sabian Symbol for the Sun in Aquarius), whereby the “dramatization of one’s achievements” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Leo New Moon) has resulted in “blessings and beautitude” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Sun in Aquarius).
The Sabian Symbol for the Full Moon at 14:47 Leo states:
“A pageant with its spectacular floats moves along a street crowded with cheering people. Keynote: The more or less sensational release of energies in a form dramatizing the unconscious aspirations of man’s primitive and instinctual nature – public DEMONSTRATION.” Page 140
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 14:47 Aquarius states:
“Two lovebirds sitting on a fence and singing happily. Keynote: The blessings bestowed upon personal achievements by the spiritually fulfilled consciousness of the soul – BEAUTITUDE.”
(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Pages 140 and 258, respectively)
Suggested by these symbolical pictures is that the public dramatization of our nature, especially if taken to extremes, has to be reined in or countered by the higher love principle in order to change the course of our history and make progress.
Tarot card of the day is “The Hermit”, suggesting that we’ve entered a stage of introspection, where we need to look for the answers within, thereby engaging in soul searching. It’s a solitary quest, because the truths we’re seeking do not lie in the external world, but within us. Therefore, we begin to re-evaluate our goals and might change our overall direction. In recognizing that each of our thoughts and actions is a brick we use to build our lives, we partake in the creation of our own reality. We have to find the light within and allow ourselves to be touched and illuminated by it as well as help to light the way for others. Alas, all the darkness that seems to surround us cannot blot out the light. Moreover, there is an emphasis on peace and patience as well as on accepting the limitations of time and age. The Hermit also symbolizes a taskmaster, who leads with purpose and wisdom gathered from years of experience. He furthermore represents completion. Thus, we may well be progress to a new stage of life, but need to remove any difficulties from a current situation in order to make progress.
