Now that we’ve reached a turning point destiny-wise that concerns the nurturing principle, we had to confront personal beliefs, truths and convictions, which are counter-productive and even contrary to our progress, especially if we want to change our life or sense of Self. Therefore, it is important that we reconsider which causes we are committed toward and which things we are holding sacred or invest our energy in and whether this is worth all the agitation, stress, frustration, struggles and fighting or if we would be better advised to emotionally detach and get a different perspective on the issue that allows us to establish support and rapport with others. Consequently, today we had an opportunity to dam in the flow of emotions and even if we gave in to a few temptations, they were just ‘minor slips’ for which we could make up later if we chose so (I got a bit worked up too today, but this comes with the territory, so to speak – a job in retail is very taxing on the nerves. I need to “catch my breath” and calm down – my Ceres Return is only a few days away). Things went smoother after the Moon’s ingress to Libra. Then, we felt lighter, better and more balanced as well as at ease in the social scene.
Tarot card of the day is the “5 of Wands”, depicting a day of struggles, restlessness and also playfulness when a lot of ideas are floating around and we could encounter conflicts or quarrels – inside and outside. We might be bothered by trivialities as well as overwhelmed by the pressure and demands on us. It is important to not lose sight of the bigger picture and let these minor vexations deplete our energies. Therefore, we need to get a grasp on these fluctuating energies and whims and carefully assess our attitude, while opening us to the changes they bring into our life.
