Daily aspects:
– Sun in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces, quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries and square Juno in Leo
– Moon ingress to Libra at 10:02 am EDT
– Venus in Gemini semi-sextile Mars in Taurus
– Pallas egress to Sagittarius at 2:12 pm EDT (until Oct. 31)
– Mercury in Taurus quincunx Pallas Rx in Sagittarius and ingress to Gemini at 9:59 pm EDT (until July 8)
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

Due to struggles we experienced in the past, we used to do everything by ourselves or to go it alone, so to speak. However, since too much has accumulated or been left unfinished, we have to enlist the help of others and ask for their cooperation, whether we like this option or not and then they might not even do it right or properly, which could lead to even more consternation on our part. However, the situation requires from us to grow into our role or into the person we want to be and this won’t happen without a few sacrifices on our part. After the Moon’s ingress to Libra will we feel more at peace and seek to work it all out with others. At the same time begins a period during which we have to review our long-term strategies and tactics we employ or maneuvers we carry out in regard to growth and expansion and have to make an adjustment in our plans right away if we don’t want to be stuck. Once Mercury has made ingress to Gemini later tonight will agendas and minds become more flexible and adaptable. During this transit are we more inclined toward mental dexterity and versatility, are more verbal and communicative, while dealing with a variety of people and looking at issues and ideas from several angles. We could even connect to new or more people and be busier as usual as well as more mobile.

Tarot card of the day is the Hanged Man”, demanding from us to let go and surrender to the experience, end the struggle, accept what is and hang in there for now. We are in an in-between state and also at a cross-roads, where decisions are postponed, even though there’s a sense of urgency to act. Therefore, we may simply just want to wait for better opportunities. There is a chance that we could see a situation from a new angle and consequently, overturn our priorities or upend the old order. This card also represents someone who has chosen the path of sacrifice and forsaken instant gratification in order to accomplish a higher goal.

Daily aspects:
– Venus in Gemini square Chiron in Pisces, semi-sextile Mars in Taurus and sesqui Ceres in Aquarius
– Sun in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces, qx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries and square Juno in Leo
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries
– Juno in Leo quincunx Neptune in Pisces and sextile NN in Libra/trine SN in Aries

Challenged to deal with painful or otherwise difficult or problematic conditions, it is important that we reform our nurturing principle, especially when we could have anticipated certain developments in which we never had a chance. Therefore, instead of ‘owning the wound’, we have to set ourselves free, keep plugging along and try to be productive in spite of the changes in our work environment. Moreover, in order to see this through to the end, we have to make a few sacrifices and be patient as well as persistent. Thus, we are making a personal adjustment to be able to arrange for our future prospects, but have to overcome our ego attachments in a relationship situation.

Tarot card of the day is The Hermit”, suggesting that we entered a stage of introspection, where we need to look for the answers within, thereby engaging in soul searching. It’s a solitary quest, because the truths we’re seeking do not lie in the external world, but within us. Therefore, we begin to re-evaluate our goals and might change our overall direction. In recognizing that each of our thoughts and actions is a brick we use to build our lives, we partake in the creation of our own reality. We have to find the light within and allow ourselves to be touched and illuminated by it as well as help to light the way for others. Alas, all the darkness that seems to surround us cannot blot out the light. Moreover, there is an emphasis on peace and patience as well as on accepting the limitations of time and age. The Hermit also symbolizes a taskmaster, who leads with purpose and wisdom gathered from years of experience. He furthermore represents completion. Thus, we may well be progress to a new stage of life, but need to remove any difficulties from a current situation in order to make progress.

– Juno in Leo quincunx Neptune in Pisces and sextile NN in Libra/trine SN in Aries

Today can be quite productive if we are willing to apply the necessary effort without getting

overwhelmed or consternated. This requires from us to keep ‘treating our sore spots’ and licking our wounds, but not losing hope or giving up while doing so. We have an important part to play in this scenario and we’ve have been struggling this. Not anymore, because if we want to live a more balanced life, we have to move on from the past and just let go.

Tarot card of the day is the 10 of Cups”, suggesting that we’re calling a truce and restoring harmony where it is needed. We’re working for peace and reaffirming our commitment to bonds. Thus, we create an atmosphere where we can relax, while reducing stress and tensions, and consequently have a chance to experience serenity and contentment. Generally, we can be more at ease. This card is reflective of our personal value system and of what we believe will bring us the ultimate fulfillment and happiness in life.

Daily aspects:
– Mercury in Taurus sesqui NN in Libra/semi-square SN in Aries
– Moon ingress to Virgo at 9:07 pm EDT
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries
– Juno in Leo qx Neptune in Pisces and sextile NN in Libra/trine SN in Aries

With Mercury’s tense aspects to the nodal axis today, the annual fire inspection for our building here is scheduled for this morning. This task has to be carried out to ensure our safety and wellbeing (Taurus) and also because we recently had 2 fire alarms (SN in Aries). I will also fill out a maintenance request to have my window screen in the bedroom replaced to keep insects out now that I can finally open my windows, because it’s getting warmer outside. In addition to that, I have my usual household chores to do – baking, cooking, cleaning and laundry. Later tonight, I will meet with my daughter on Skype for our weekly chat we had to postpone, because she worked on Saturday and had other plans for Sunday. After the Moon’s ingress to Virgo will I prepare myself mentally and emotionally for my work week. So, it’s just one of these days filled with a regular schedule intended to have everything ready and arranged for the week ahead for me (Merc in Taurus in aspect to the nodal axis), which means I will stay at home all day and take care of the household (6 of Cups). And indeed, the weather is not nice enough to change my mind about my agenda – it’s overcast and cold here. Meanwhile, on the world stage, the death toll after the Nepalese earthquake is still rising and the royal baby is still not delivered.

Tarot card of the day is the 6 of Cups”, suggesting that past efforts are being rewarded and pleasant or nostalgic memories are resurfacing. Past connections can serve some useful purpose. However, we need to look toward the future now and lay solid foundations in this regard. It’s important to be keenly aware of the blessings in our lives and to take some time out to enjoy the good moments, for they are special.

Astro-Notes on April 26, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Mercury in Taurus semi-sextile Eris in Aries
– Venus in Gemini sextile Uranus in Aries
– Juno in Leo quincunx Neptune in Pisces and sextile NN in Libra/trine SN in Aries
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

We’ve been adjusting our schedule in favor of our self-interests, knowing that we need some time out or

a break from our normal routine or at least a change of scenery to be able to recover and enjoy ourselves. Therefore, we use the opportunity to get out and do something different, now that we finally can move on in a relationship situation. On the world stage, the arrival of the second royal baby is due and loyal fans’ excitement is rising as they wait for the good news. However, the ward of the hospital where the duchess is scheduled to give birth had to be closed after a superbug was discovered there. In more devastating news, the death toll after the powerful earthquake hit Nepal and bordering countries is still climbing as the region also experienced aftershocks and an avalanche on Mount Everest. The terror is not over for these folks yet as they don’t know what to expect. There is extensive mourning and grieving. Sadness is sinking in. The region also lost their famous historic temples. Foreign aid is pouring in, but it is difficult for them to reach the area.
Personally, I can’t wait to leave the building. Temps are rising and it feels like spring again. Time for a nice long walk in nature. 🙂

Astro-Notes on April 25, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Moon ingress to Leo at 9:12 am EDT
– Sun in Taurus semi-square Chiron in Pisces
– Vesta in Pisces quincunx Jupiter in Leo
– Juno in Leo quincunx Neptune in Pisces and sextile NN in Libra/trine SN in Aries
– First Quarter Moon at 5:27 Leo/Taurus at 7:55 pm EDT
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

Well, the aspects to Chiron in Pisces these last couple of days really didn’t help me with my writing,

planning or routines. I was overly tired, which was most likely the combined affect of the chill weather and the late shift on Thursday on my body. Moreover, yesterday, the sun shone a light on a yukky problem that was well concealed from my eyes for some time and could have caused me quite some discomfort if I hadn’t discovered this. As it so happened, I broke the bottom drawer of my dresser that is placed across one of the bedroom corners. I had stuffed too many shirts in there and as I moved it out of this corner the next day to fix it, I saw mold behind it. So, I had to call building maintenance and Maggie showed up not much later, wiping it off with bleach and cleaning the area. We enjoyed a rather lively chat though, touching on the subjects of my passion and as it turned out hers too. This was a good example of the aspect patterns at play, especially the Taurean energies mixed with the Piscean ones. Now that this is out of the way and even ‘a bridge has been built’ (I invited Maggie over for a nice cup of tea and a longer chat, could I focus on my weekend and my commitments in this regard. With the First Quarter Moon approaching though, my day at work didn’t start off very well, because we’re still dealing with the same old problems that keep us running in circles. And although the situation is supposed to get better, we aren’t hearing the music yet (Sabian Symbol for the Aries New Moon was “The music of the spheres”).

Tarot card of the day is the 7 of Cups”, suggesting that we might be lacking focus and commitment, be inclined toward indolence or just sluggish in our attitude and therefore could be falling into dissipation. It’s time to stop building castles in the air and fantasize about future achievements. Instead, we have to apply a real effort and put our plans into practice. Thus, we have to wake up and do what needs to be done, while remembering that all things are possible if we put our mind to it.

– Mars in Taurus semi-sextile Uranus in Aries
– Mercury in Taurus sextile Chiron in Pisces
– Venus in Gemini quincunx Pluto Rx in Capricorn

We continue to adjust to the newest trends, adapting our priorities accordingly, accepting our ‘fate’ or the things we cannot control, whether we like it or not, hanging in there and hoping for conditions not to get worse or too bad or overwhelming so that we can get back on track soon.

Tarot card of the day is The World”, signifying the end of a cycle, the final and successful completion of any issue at hand. We have arrived at our destination or have reached the culmination of a long series of events. There is a dawning realization and understanding of where we are at.
