True to the nature of a Lunar Eclipse (and with this one in the relationship sign Libra) our Easter

getaway to Toronto was the culmination of a series of events, which began a few years back when I was able again to see my daughter more regularly and spent quality time with her (Pluto transiting my 5th house). This was due to major changes in my circumstances (Uranus transiting my 8th house and squaring transiting Pluto these last few years) and a bit later in hers too. One step led to another and once she had moved very far away we planned longer visits and invested more in our get-togethers, while the pieces kept falling into place for us. So, in the weeks and even months until our next visit we usually prepare intensively and far in advance and the excitement keeps building up for us. It is quite an experience. We are filled with hope and anticipation and we have something wonderful and adventurous to look forward to, but then these few shared days are passing way too quickly, because the actual event or occasion happens on a long weekend, whereas the time leading up to it consists of many weeks. But that’s life. Of course, we have new plans already, though nothing is definitive yet. For now however, it’s back to reality and to our routines and although conditions leave a lot to be desired, we cannot put our life on hold, but have to make the best of our current circumstances and live our life to the fullest as we’re following our individual destinies. Part of mine is sharing my thoughts, ideas, impressions, feelings and experiences on my blog. However, I cannot always keep up with the writing and I’m not always inspired, all of which is based on my at times busy and at other times boring (solitary) lifestyle. Usually, I’m too tired when I finally get home after work and not in the mood for anything anymore. These last couple of days with the Moon in Scorpio I’ve also been a bit down, because of my daughter’s leaving and my returning to the reality of a stressful and frustrating job and nasty, cold weather. After the Moon’s ingress to Sagittarius early this morning we’ve got lots of precipitation and the arctic wind kept blowing the rain drops right into my face on my way to work. Overall, the dampness has increased considerably so that it feels colder than it actually is. This marked the start of the new Mercury-Uranus synodic cycle in Aries. I was indeed alerted to my surroundings and the miserable, chilling climate forced me to wake up and get as quickly as possible to my destination. Thus, we’ve entered a sub-period of determined ‘maverick-ness’, when we could ‘think up a storm’, be strongly contrary and reactive in our attitude, change our perception of things and make different choices, connect with active, driven, energetic and motivated individuals and groups as well as focus on the future and push for progress. Moreover, fresh inspiration might strike us and we could be thinking about rebellion and liberation. Now that Jupiter has stationed direct in Leo can we concentrate on outward growth and expansion again, while seeking to draw attention to our personal quest. Another energy shift that will happen later tonight is Pallas’ ingress to Capricorn, where she will only remain until the end of the month due to her impending retrogradation. Consequently, we’ll be firmer as well as more practical, realistic and ambitious in our approach during this time.

Tarot card of the day is the The Tower”, signifying inevitable change or at least different conditions as our routines are getting shaken up. If handled well it can bring liberation and freedom. There might be shock due to the suddenness of the event as well as upheaval, but if we’ve been stuck in a rut this will help us to climb out of it. Things are transforming and evolving beyond our control. An era might end – one way or another.
