My day started off with a fire alarm (certainly a ‘reckoning’) that was unwarranted and didn’t put me in real danger. Nobody really rushed out of the building, because this had happened before, according to what I heard from other residents who’ve been living here for a longer period of time. To me it felt like one of the fire drills we have to conduct at work every once in a while. Luckily for us, it was finally a warm and sunny morning and we didn’t have to wait too long to get the scene cleared. I also met a few of my neighbors for the first time and the one who lives next door to me actually knocked on my door right after this exercise and gifted me with a small jar of fresh maple syrup from the farm where he works. What a nice gesture. So, this is a good example of the daily energy weather – leisurely walking for safety, uncovering the veil of something long ‘hidden’, forced to abandon our morning routines by an imaginary event, getting kicked out of our comfort zones and joining others in solidarity – all of which is happening for the sake of our survival (this is an echo of the lunar eclipse, which has been the ‘beginning’ of a shakeup of our habitual patterns, thereby getting us out of a rut) and at the same time causing us to bring forth our true, authentic nature, to reveal our identity at a lingering moment of discord. After the Moon’s ingress to Aquarius later today will we really change pace. I, per example, will head downtown to watch the annual swan parade. Seems like spring has finally sprung.

Tarot card of the day is Judgment”, suggesting that we’re having a day of reckoning, when we can find absolution or are heeding a call. Therefore, it’s important that we use good judgment, release all sorrows and lift ourselves up. We might have experienced an epiphany that opens ourselves up to a new possibility, which is like an awakening to new life that can lead to renewal and change.
