Astro-Notes on September 5, 2015 – Third Quarter Moon

Daily aspects:
– Third Quarter Moon at 12:31 Gemini/Virgo at 5:54 am EDT
– Juno in Virgo trine Ceres Rx in Capricorn
– Sun in Virgo trine Pluto Rx in Capricorn

After we took action for the sake of the things we hold sacred and fought for causes that need our support, failure or refusal to care and other flaws or limits in matters of commitment in a relationship situation, where we have to help are now under review so that we can work out how to improve these conditions and relations – as seen in the tragic example of the Syrian refugees trying to reach our shores and borders. A stark reality that reminds us that war has consequences that will eventually affect all of us in the same sense as the weather pattern or climate change, the ecology, the economy and politics in general do. Consequently, the ‘crisis in consciousness’ that accompanies the Third Quarter Moon challenges us to be flexible and adaptable in the ways we ‘serve the world’ or the larger community (the keyword of the Sabian Symbol for the Leo New Moon was “world-server”), even if that means we have to use our personal or community resources. Many private people in the Western world have opened their homes to the refugees from these war-torn countries – we truly see history in the making. A large part of humanity is evolving and responding to the calling of our times, thereby following the path of the ‘light’, while others sink deeper into ‘darkness’ or ignorance. Though this too is human nature. Anyway, I wanted to post this early in the morning before I had to leave for work, but I had to straighten my hair again due to the high humidity in our area here and prepare my lunch, because I had chatted with my daughter yesterday night. Our new store manager officially started today (our work week begins on Saturday). So, there will be a ‘fresh wind blowing’ from now on. Other than that, I’ll be focusing on the upcoming eclipses and will be available for readings.

Tarot card of the day is the Knight of Cups”, symbolizing that we’re full of zeal as we serve our desires. We’re on a journey of imagination and creativity, where our idealism and love principle will be put to a test. Therefore, we’ll have to follow our heart in order to find our path.
