A last degree sextile was formed by Ceres in Capricorn and retro Vesta in Pisces that could be taken as an urgent appeal for sympathy based on the latest revelations we received. Thus, we might have heard distressing or shocking news of unnecessary or unavoidable suffering and sacrifices that touched us deeply, asking for our compassion and commitment. Consequently, the confrontation with these tragedies required an adjustment of our priorities. Moreover, we had to show some empathy or solidarity and work out resolutions. As the Libra lunation cycle culminated in the Taurus Full Moon this morning, the impulse that sounded forth at the time of the Taurus New Moon back in May of this year comes to a head too. Therefore, ‘the rabbi is performing his duties’ (Sabian Symbol for the Libra New Moon) in form of ‘communion’ (keyword of the Sabian Symbol for the Taurus Full Moon), and ‘the old Indian woman who is selling her artifacts to passers-by’ (Sabian Symbol for the Taurus New Moon) has been succeeded by ‘a youth carrying a lighted candle in a devotional ritual, who is impressing the great images of his culture upon the gathered participants’ (Sabian Symbol and keynote for the Scorpio Sun). So, it’s not only about what we can sell, but also what we can offer or even owe others that brings them comfort, a sense of validation, appreciation and closeness or inclusiveness.
The Sabian Symbol for the Full Moon at 3:44 Taurus states:
“The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Keynote: Riches that come from linking the celestial and the earthly nature – COMMUNION.”
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 3:44 Scorpio states:
“A youth carries a lighted candle in a devotional ritual. Keynote: The educative power of ceremonies, which impress the great images of a culture upon its gathered participants – THE POWER OF SYMBOLS.”

Life is happening to us in all its complexity, inevitability and mystery. Some aspects of it we can influence, others not. It’s a matter of acceptance and adaptation. In order to find emotional security, we need to be able to share our feelings and emotions and to develop trust and intimacy in communion with others. Meanwhile, Ceres re-entered Aquarius, where she first made ingress on April 3 of this year and will continue to travel through until January 28. This corresponds to a period during which we seek to reform or upgrade our nurturing principle by changing our commitments or the way we tend to take care of things or show support. We might even alter our diet or try different ingredients.
One of my mother’s brothers has passed away on the 25th. So, I have been in contact with her, comforting her and also a friend of mine to whom I used to be very close after learning of her incurable illness. I also talked to my best friend and later that day to my daughter. These were important conversations I had over my weekend and that’s why this post is coming out so late. On another note, I left the Health and Safety Committee today after 2 years of volunteering my time. With the amount of work I have on my ‘plate’, it’s impossible for me to find the time for inspections.
Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Swords”, a card that is also called “The Renewer” and is all about communication, information and ideas and indicates the ability to rise above emotional confusion. The Page or Princess of Swords represents commitment to a new way of life, because of the settling and cutting away of past inner conflicts, the regaining of mental clarity and a victory over emotional moods. Manifestation of our dreams can actually happen in the not so distant future as she delivers messages of change and news of official matters.
