A couple of days ago did Venus make ingress to Aries, where she will be traversing until April 29, and Mercury ingress to Taurus, where he will be travelling until June 12 due to his retrograde in this sign. This means that our inner landscape has been shifting already prior to the Aries New Moon and therefore, these changes in our emotions and thinking process are quite noticeable in the setup to this lunation event. Consequently, we could have been seeking to enact our values, preferences and priorities rather impatiently and forcefully, but might have had the good sense to tone down our messages and gestures, if only after the ‘flare-up’ that could have consumed us from within. In the same sense as winter has returned to these parts of North America and stopped us in our tracks, had we to surrender to other circumstances beyond our control, which basically set us back to square one. And although we can’t help it, neither can we influence these developments, we are not powerless. We just have to rely on our strength and resourcefulness and endure these conditions for as long as they last, while keeping our focus on our long-term goals. Thus, we could have realized that there’s really no need to get aggravated about small things or to become too animated. It’s the same old story we know in and out or the same song playing and this situation will continue this way and we’ll go through these motions again and again whether we like it or not. However, we have now reached a turning point, where it is up to us to make a conscious choice and do better than that and ultimately for ourselves. Moreover, in order to get on top of our affairs, we have to use our connections and support network together with the knowledge we gained from our accumulated experiences to deal with the situation maturely or professionally, instead of stressing about it.
The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon at 18:04 Aries states:
“The magic carpet of oriental imagery. Keynote: The use of creative imagination – A STRIFE-TRANSCENDING AND UNATTACHED OUTLOOK UPON EVERYDAY REALITY.”
(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Page 64)
The symbol suggests that we need to stand above these conditions and detach ourselves from too much personal involvement in these petty issues. Only then will we be able to think clearly and objectively and can let these mundane matters pass us by. Some days are better, some days are worse. Therefore, look for the blessings instead of the curse. Be positive, stay strong and get enough rest. You can’t do it all, but you can do your best. 🙂 This new beginning holds the potential for us to evolve if we are willing to change our outlook upon everyday life.
Tarot card of the day is the “Wheel of Fortune” indicating that the wheel has turned and we’ve entered a new phase of the cycle. We must accept that things can always turn around; that what goes around comes around. However, in every crisis lies opportunity. It’s not a time to be complacent; instead we have to actively follow this path now and go with the flow.
