Since the beginning of the month, both, the Sun and Venus in Gemini, have been moving through the mutable t-square, comprised of Neptune in Pisces, retrograde Saturn in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Virgo, while Venus has been catching up with the Sun. Thus, as pressure has been building up steadily and demands on us have been increasing, we could have felt stretched too thin and put on edge, thereby undergoing a range of emotions and experiencing our share of disillusionment and disappointment, all of which left us either confused, cranky or irritable, or uncomfortable in our own skin, frustrated and stressed out. This could have easily resulted in a few misunderstandings and misconceptions as we were trying to rush things to be able to meet our objectives, common goals and expectations through multi-tasking and a lot of moving back and forth. Moreover, we’re facing a lot of antagonism and our plans are getting crossed so that our problems and challenges are growing bigger before we can get a handle on them. And although it seems that time is running away from us, we have to realize that there’s only so much we can do and also that we can only be in one place at a time. All this craze we’re dealing with is not our fault and therefore, we can’t take it personally or get caught up in it, but have to focus on staying our course and doing the best we can. We’re set to make progress – there’s no stopping us. However, we can’t force the issue or think we can have things our way all the time, but need to be reasonable as well as considerate in our approach and in the way we react or respond. Therefore, it’s important to discern wisely and adapt to the circumstances when it is called for or more effective, especially what our priorities and values concerns. In fact, whether we like it or not, we might have to budge a bit. This is not about winning or losing – it’s about being efficient and resourceful as well as able to manage whatever life throws at us.
The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon at 14:53 Gemini states:
“Two Dutch children talking to each other, exchanging their knowledge. Keynote: The need to clarify one’s experiences through actual contacts with like-minded individuals – OBJECTIVITY.”
(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Page 99)
With this New Moon and Venus engaged in the Grand Cross, objectivity is hard to come by, because different agendas might collide and we might not always be on the same page or wavelength, but there is no need to war and struggle unnecessarily. The situation calls for mindfulness. Consequently, we have to understand that it’s ultimately up to us if we do it the easy or the hard way. Even if don’t succeed with everything we set out to do, it doesn’t mean we didn’t try everything in our power and gave it our best shot. Sometimes, there are just too many factors against us. Life keeps us on a learning curve. All we need to know is that we will get through this together.Tarot card of the day is the “10 of Pentacles”, suggesting that we seek out permanence and are looking for a solution that will last. Therefore, we are working on the creation of a lasting foundation by moving beyond makeshift arrangements and through a consensus of vision. This card refers to a climax in our foundational life, a culmination, completion or achievement we’ve reached that is the result of our material and tangible efforts and allows us to make a commitment to a sustainable future. We’re now investing in long-term benefits, knowing that we need a consistent approach in order to achieve success that will stand the test of time.
