Preceding the First Quarter Moon this morning, Jupiter makes ingress to Libra at 7:18 am EDT, a transit that will last until October 10th of next year. Because Jupiter is a social planet and a slow traveller, spending approximately one year in a sign of the zodiac, this is a rather big energy shift. While Jupiter was in Virgo, we analyzed our viewpoint of the world, in particular in regard to work, service and daily routines, together with our life concepts, personal truths and social opportunities and how they helped our mission or purpose. For many, health could have become an issue too, which could still be unresolved or might only be slowly improving. Now, as Jupiter begins to transit Libra we will assess, evaluate and compare our options in this context, thereby seeking to include others as well as their cooperation and assistance into our quest. So this period will see growth in and through relationships and partnerships as well as other Libra-related matters (justice, balance, refinement etc.). Jupiter’s dispositor Venus is casting a semi-sextile to the North Node in Virgo (quincunx to the South Node in Pisces) at the onset of this transit, indicating that we have to let go off certain expectations we had in the past though and adjust our values, preferences and priorities accordingly if we want to improve our future prospects. This requires also that we go over our information, conversations and exchanges we had lately and review our plans, schedules or lists to figure out what we need to change or update or even cancel or dismiss in order to be able to serve our own interests and bridge any conflicts or problems. Consequently, the ‘crisis in action’ challenges us to be tolerant and reasonable when we judge a situation. We might not have all the facts yet and therefore, it would be unwise to make any definitive statements or rush to conclusions. With the Saturn-Neptune square perfecting again, some things are still uncertain, unformed, unclear, elusive, confusing and unknown. Consequently, we have to wait for news, offers, results and other developments before we can actually make a guess or have a clue about the proceedings or what the near future might hold for us.
Tarot card of the day is “Temperance”, suggesting a need for emotional stability, which can be achieved through moderation and a commitment to sobriety. We need to find middle ground, avoid excess, foster cooperation, cleanse our body and mind, heal ourselves and recognize the flow in our life. As we observe the nature of energy, we learn how to mix the right ingredients in our own life to maintain equilibrium and see all imbalances drifting away. Instead of sweeping changes subtle shifts need to take place. With renewed energy and vigor comes the promise of new growth.
