– First Quarter Moon at 15:04 Gemini/Pisces at 3:32 am PST
– Mars in Aries semi-square Neptune in Pisces and trine Saturn in Sagittarius
– Ceres in Taurus semi-square Chiron in Pisces
In the early morning hours yesterday did Venus station retrograde at 13:08 Aries, a sign she’s not comfortable in, because it is Mars’ domain and thus related to the masculine principle, whereas Venus is representing the feminine principle. She will trace her steps back to 26:54 Pisces, the sign of her exaltation, because it is ruled by Neptune, who is her ‘higher octave’ as the symbol of universal love and all-inclusiveness. Venus will turn direct on April 15 and re-enter Aries on April 28.
Her retrograde journey corresponds to a period, during which we will review our values, relationships, priorities, preferences, attachments, self-worth, emotions and desires and while in Aries this concerns our more primal instincts as well as matters of survival, conquest and competition in this context, whereas in Pisces it refers to issues related to compassion, forgiveness, sympathy, unification and the ability to walk in another’s shoes. Mercury, coming out of a conjunction with Neptune in Pisces, was the first energy to engage with retrograde Venus, an encounter that made us realize what we are willing to sacrifice in order to meet certain expectations – ours or those of others.
Therefore, the ‘crisis in action’ that accompanies the First Quarter Moon in Gemini, challenges us to become aware of the duality in our own viewpoint. We cannot have it both ways or be in two places at the same time. Something’s gotta give; we lose one way or the other and consequently have to be clear what is realistically possible or doable and thus takes priority at this point.
With Mars in Aries in semi-square aspect to Neptune in Pisces and trine Saturn in Sagittarius, we cannot let this stop us though from pursuing other intentions at a more convenient time after we’ve overcome all the hurdles and obstacles in our way and can really start over. For now, we have to commit us to our increased responsibilities and trust that things will eventually come together. A semi-square between Ceres in Taurus and Chiron in Pisces indicates that there is no closure yet and therefore, it is important that we continue with our usual routine and commitments until we get the ‘green light’.
Tarot card of the day is the “Page of Swords”, a card that is also called “The Renewer” and is all about communication, information and ideas and indicates the ability to rise above emotional confusion. The Page or Princess of Swords represents commitment to a new way of life, because of the settling and cutting away of past inner conflicts, the regaining of mental clarity and a victory over emotional moods. Manifestation of our dreams can actually happen in the not so distant future as she delivers messages of change and news of official matters.
