Early this morning at 4:56 am PDT did the Full Moon in Pisces transpire with the Virgo Sun just leaving an earth grand trine with retrograde Saturn in Capricorn and retrograde Uranus in Taurus. So, this high point in the lunation cycle follows right after the ending or completion of a phase in our life that could have resulted in a sense of groundedness, some personal achievement or better control of a life situation due to finally getting ‘unstuck’ or things improving and working out. After all this backwards tracking and reviewing there seems to be a silver lining on the horizon and hope is returning.
However, the Sun is now approaching a sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, who also receives a square from Venus in Libra, while Mercury in Leo forms a quincunx to retrograde Neptune in Pisces, the ruler of the Full Moon. Thus, we’re under pressure to get organized, back to business and manage our affairs more efficiently as our needs, relationships and agreements have remained unbalanced. This requires adjustments in our schedule and plans so that we will be able to meet these as yet unfulfilled expectations and ideals.
With the Full Moon highlighting the axis of service and sacrifice, self-improvement experienced through practicality, functionality, conscientiousness and effectiveness faces off with self-undoing, denial, dreaming, idealism, release and vision and these matters have to be integrated and reconciled.
As the Leo New Moon (which was a Solar Eclipse) culminates in the Pisces Full Moon, the impulse that sounded forth at the time of the Pisces New Moon back in March also comes to fruition. In the symbolical language of the Sabians, we get the following story: “A house boat party” (Sabian Symbol for the Leo NM) has led to “heavy car traffic on a narrow isthmus linking two seashore resorts” (Sabian Symbol of the Pisces FM) – “the enjoyment of freedom from social rigidity” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Leo NM) has brought about “mobility and intensity of interchanges” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Pisces FM), whereas “the harvest moon, illuminating a clear autumnal sky” (Sabian Symbol for the Pisces NM from March) has been replaced by “black and white children, which play happily together” (Sabian Symbol for the Virgo Sun) – this “consummation” (keyword of the Sabian Symbol for the Pisces NM) has resulted in a “brotherhood” (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Virgo Sun). So, one fun social event has brought a group of people together and they are now ‘consuming’ their relationship (or playing together) in form of a ‘brotherhood’ or sisterhood or whatever special bond they share.
For instance, my friend Cristal took me to a horse healing session yesterday (Jupiter is sesqui-quadrate Chiron) and dropped me off at home later on. We sat there in her car for a moment and talked about our ‘sisterhood’ going out in nature and doing some things together. We had so much fun walking on the beach, doing oracle card readings, going kayaking etc. and this happened, because we did things rather spontaneously. It’s time to commit us more seriously and make this into a habit. Instead of longing and wishing (Pisces), we need to be more proactive, check events, landmarks, parks and trails out and propose something we could do for our next weekend (Virgo) by letting us be guided by our vision or imagination (Pisces) so that this becomes a weekly routine (Virgo).
On another note: This horse-healing session has really helped me to reconnect with source or spirit. Even though I spent lots of time in nature over the course of the last few months, I felt so disconnected and all the setbacks, especially in regard to my health, had left me struggling in a dark place. It was a really soothing experience.
The Sabian Symbol for the Full Moon at 3:12 Pisces states:
“Heavy car traffic on a narrow isthmus linking two seashore resorts. Keynote: The mobility and intensity of interchanges, which make possible and characterize complex social processes – TRAFFIC.”
The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 3:12 Virgo states:
“Black and white children play together happily. Keynote: The overcoming of socio-cultural prejudices – BROTHERHOOD.”

Tarot card of the day is “The Magician”, coming with the message ‘I have the power to create’, because we have all the tools we need available – the sword of intellect, the wand of inspiration, the cup of emotion and the pentacle of practicality. This card suggests that it is time to approach our whole life or a situation with a new creative and original attitude. We have the ability to act not react, as well as the willpower to channel our energy in the direction we want it to go. With self-confidence we will gain the knowledge and the ability to tackle the important issues that need to be dealt with so that success can be achieved.
