Astro-Notes on April 23, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Moon ingress to Cancer at 00:25 am EDT
– Mercury in Taurus semi-sextile Uranus in Aries
– Sun in Taurus quincunx Saturn Rx in Sagittarius
– Ceres in Aquarius semi-square Chiron in Pisces
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

Since the Moon’s ingress to Cancer at the start of the new day could we have felt more protected and

nurtured or warmed up, especially if we were focusing on taking good care of ourselves after the change in the weather (waking up to the all too familiar white outside), which brought snow back to our area (with Mercury in trine to retrograde Pluto yesterday winter made a last statement). Therefore, we have to adjust to these conditions or whatever else is causing us to change our usual routine (I, for instance, have late shift today), knowing this is just a short interruption or break from our normal life that can skew our perception. In the same sense as spring hasn’t settled yet, are we in a time of transition, where uncertainty, hopelessness, disorientation and even loss prevail – Neptune in Pisces is in adjusting aspects to the nodal axis – but we are aware of that and wait it out, while preparing ourselves to meet the future without having any expectations about it (yesterday’s 2 of Cups is succeeded by today’s 3 of Cups).

Tarot card of the day is the 3 of Cups”, representing wonderful connections and the celebration of friendship and harmonious relationships in general. It heralds a sociable day when we spend quality time with friends and loved ones and experience camaraderie as well as a feeling of oneness. We could be bursting with energy and overflowing with high spirits. Things should be going well.

Astro-Notes on October 7, 2014

Daily aspects:
– Moon ingress to Aries at 6:06 am EDT
– Sun in Libra quincunx Chiron Rx in Pisces and opposite Uranus Rx in Aries
– Juno ingress to Leo at 5:07 pm EDT (until June 30, 2015 due to rx) and trine Vesta in Sagittarius
– Mercury Rx in Scorpio semi-square Mars in Sagittarius

We wake this morning feeling more animated as well as ready for action. Therefore, we adjust our purpose

accordingly, shifting our attention back to unresolved issues and as yet unbalanced accounts, determined to tackle those projects without further delays. However, we’re confronted by new trends we have to reconcile with our personality. This requires that we remind ourselves of our higher intentions, especially now, when a phase begins during which we seek to shine in our role, to express our creative potential and find self-realization through our interactions with others. Thus, our personal involvement and contribution to those social causes results in greater dedication of all concerned.

Daily aspects:
– Juno in Cancer sesqui Neptune Rx in Pisces
– Mercury in Libra sesqui Neptune Rx in Pisces, square Juno in Cancer and semi-sextile Vesta in Scorpio
– Venus in Virgo opposite Chiron Rx in Aries and quincunx Uranus Rx in Aries
– Ceres in Scorpio trine Chiron Rx in Pisces

While certain relationship dynamics might just feel so familiar, reminding us of seemingly never-ending

struggles we’ve been through time and again to the beat of ‘same old story’, it is important that we don’t lose our faith or give up hope, but focus on our higher values and ideals. We’re in this together and therefore, we need to join forces. Others might even come to our rescue. Although we may feel cheated or that our wants and preferences have been ignored, we need to bridge our differences and adjust our attachments accordingly as we react to new trends or groups, thus combining resources to achieve our common goal. Examples of this astro-weather are found all over the news: the U.S. is coming to the rescue as the Ebola outbreak is spiraling out of control in the same sense as Canadian Prime Minister Harper sent advisers to Iraq and as British Columbia was able to strike a deal with the teachers

Astro-Notes on April 22, 2014 – Earth Day

Mercury in Aries first met Juno in conjunction

right at the beginning of the new day and then passed over the South Node (opposing the North Node in Libra). Thus, we’ve entered a new sub-cycle that combines our perception of things and situations together with the way we communicate and connect with our relationship principle or the manner in which we interact with others in the daring, initiating sign Aries and offers us a chance to start over so that we can conquer this new environment we need to experience and live in. It’s time to move on from the past and to assume a more pro-active role in our dealings with others. We now know that we can no longer vacillate in regard to our future prospects, but have to face our destiny head on. The waning Moon made ingress to Aquarius at 00:17 am EDT and then squared the Taurus Sun at 3:51 am EDT, marking the Third Quarter Moon phase of the Aries lunation cycle. This ‘crisis in consciousness’ tested our persistence together with our sense of security amidst chaos, unfamiliarity and collective pressure so that we can get used to life-style changes and new trends, especially what the process of individualization concerns. With retrograde Mars in Libra completing the cardinal Grand Cross, we have to review and reassess our intentions, motivation and actions in these trying times, where we cannot longer sit back and wait for things to happen or proceed in the same manner or pace we were accustomed to in the past. Instead, we have to turn corners in all areas of our life, break free from limiting circumstances, cultivate faith, restore our drive and respond to inspiration and opportunities with a new attitude. Personally, I said yes to a “Tarot Party” (3 of Cups) a new friend of mine has proposed to me, which is something I usually don’t agree to for a variety of reasons. Here we go. 🙂

Astro-Notes on September 27, 2013 – good relations

A quincunx from Pallas in Leo to Pluto in Capricorn

indicates a strategic adjustment we make in our personal life as we are readying us for the next phase that involves a lot of preparing and organizing in order to be able to manage our affairs now that we finalized this important step. My application for the apartment I had submitted yesterday got already approved and I might even be able to move in earlier. This is based on the good relationship I established with the superintendent/rental agent there.

Astro-Notes on July 12, 2013 – things are coming together

The tense sesqui-quadrate aspects from the Sun in Cancer to retrograde Neptune in Pisces and from Mars in the last degree of Gemini to the North Node in Scorpio (semi-square South Node in Taurus) indicate that we hope our subjective longings and personal wishes will be fulfilled in the way we imagine it and might therefore push a bit too hard as we insist on having things our way and make it happen one way or another now that we’ve got it all planned out. Yet, the more important is it to be aware of our expectations and projections in this regard and to remain flexible as well as easy-going in our approach in order for things to come together. Personally, I’m “waiting for my boats to come in” as I’m awaiting a response to a request at work and also from my daughter in regard to weekend plans I have suggested.

Tarot card of the day is the “3 of Cups”, a card which refers to the wellspring of fertility, whether material or spiritual. Consequently, we could be feeling on top of the world and overflowing with high spirits. We’re putting ourselves out there and helping each other. It’s a card of celebration and accomplishment.

Astro-Notes on September 8, 2012 – being in the flow

As the waning Gemini Moon squares off the Virgo Sun at 9:15 am EDT, marking the Third Quarter Phase in the Leo lunation cycle, the accompanying crisis in consciousness is a test of our preparedness and capability to function properly and efficiently as we’re challenged to overcome doubts and worries in regard to the revelation of our worth (keynote of the Sabian Symbol for the Leo New Moon) and make informed decisions, in particular so with Mercury in Virgo, dispositor of all these energies, engaged in a square to Jupiter in Gemini. Therefore, we have to be unshakable in our faith (linking the above and below) about our options and focus on the details of our plan.

Tarot card of the day is the “3 of Cups”, a card of reunions in the broadest sense of the word, which refers to the wellspring of fertility, whether material or spiritual. Consequently, we could be feeling on top of the world and overflowing with high spirits or at least ‘being in the flow’. We’re putting ourselves out there and helping each other. It’s a card of celebration and accomplishment.
