Daily aspects:

– Juno in Leo quincunx Pluto Rx in Capricorn
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

The tense aspect between Mars and Mars-ruled Uranus already formed yesterday and it was a pretty busy

day for me at work, where I had to cover for all the others, who were off and at the same time try to get my stock out. I also went on a walk later in the afternoon, marveling at nature’s beauty now that everything stands in bloom, and considering ending this blog for good. It hasn’t brought any returns for the amount of time and energy I poured into it. Thus, with Juno in Leo making an adjusting aspect to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn (which can be interpreted in this case as me reviewing if I achieved my ends or not with my creative endeavors) at the closing of this lunation cycle and Mercury about to station retrograde in his home sign Gemini (and being the dispositor of Mars), I won’t be posting as regularly anymore. At the beginning I really did enjoy this way of expressing myself, but I lost the passion for it somewhere along the way (mostly because it really felt like a lonely road I was traveling) and I have been realizing for a while now that I have to use my time more constructively if I ever want to see results or have success with my personal affairs. A big THANK YOU to all my readers who have appreciated my efforts.

Tarot card of the day is the4 of Swords”, signifying a break from normal life and a time when we avoid overexertion. We seek to relax body and soul, because we want to gain a better perspective by standing back from the situation and coming to terms with what is. For the moment, there is a truce, which gives us a chance to stabilize ourselves, recover, center our thoughts, stop worrying, put down our defenses and take a breather from the chaos and stress around us. In a practical sense, this card is an indicator that we need to have some time out from our current circumstances, to reflect and review your progress so far to be able to re-evaluate and re-assess our priorities.

Happy Birthday to my favorite little man – Dylan Rhodes Neri – who celebrates his 5th birthday today with a dinosaur-themed party (how appropriate for these aspects – Pluto in Cap can be associated with dinosaurs)!!!

Astro-Notes on May 3, 2015 – Scorpio Full Moon

Daily aspects:
– Mercury in Gemini semi-square Uranus in Aries and opposite Saturn Rx in Sagittarius
– Saturn Rx in Sagittarius sesqui Uranus in Aries
– Sun in Taurus square Jupiter in Leo
– Full Moon at 13:22 Scorpio/Taurus at 11:42 pm EDT
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

The latest developments brought us face to face with a long-standing issue, where we have to review the long-term implications and our responsibilities in this regard. We could be having a hard time to wrap our mind around this since we haven’t been left with too many choices and also because our buttons have been pushed and on first impulse we might feel compelled to rebel and even to retaliate. However, there is too much at stake for us. Deep down, we know that we can’t continue in this fashion and insist on having it our way, because we can’t win in this game, but have to accept the reality picture and the conditions we are dealing with, which requires from us to ‘jump over our shadow’ (as we tend to say in Germany) and overcome ourselves together with our sense of ‘righteousness’. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary that we change our attitude and develop mental flexibility instead of struggling with things beyond our control and ‘demons’ of our own making (aka psychic complexes). As the Aries lunation cycle culminates with the Scorpio Full Moon, the impulse that sounded forth at the time of the Scorpio New Moon on October 23 of last year comes to fruition too. Thus, ‘the music of the spheres’ (Sabian Symbol for the Aries New Moon) can be ‘heard’ in the ‘installation of new connections’ or ‘new channels of communication’ (Sabian Symbol for the Scorpio Full Moon), whereby the suggestion to ‘listen to the inner voice’ (keyphrase of the Sabian Symbol for the Aries New Moon) has resulted in ‘the will to association or comprehension’ (keyphrase of the Sabian Symbol for the Scorpio Full Moon). Whereas ‘the crowded sight-seeing bus on a city street’ (Sabian Symbol for the Scorpio New Moon) ended up at a destination of relief and liberation symbolized by the image of ‘children playing on the beach’ (Sabian Symbol for the Taurus Sun). Consequently, ‘the widening of experience’ (keyphrase of the Sabian Symbol for the Scorpio New Moon) has led to a ‘live and let live attitude’ or a ‘return to simpler joys for revitalization’ (keynote and keyphrase of the Sabian Symbol for the Taurus Sun).

Scorpio Full Moon 2015

The Sabian Symbol for the Moon at 13:22 Scorpio states:
“Telephone linemen at work installing new connections. Keynote: The need to establish new channels of communication – THE WILL TO ASSOCIATION or COMPREHENSION.”

The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 13:22 Taurus states:
“On the beach children play, while shellfish grope at the edge of the water. Keynote: Returning to simpler joys for revitalization – LIVE AND LET LIVE attitude.”

(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Pages 200 and 79, respectively)

It’s time to get off that bus or train of thought and snap out of that state of mind so that we can get back in touch with our inner child and live more carefree. We have to focus on life’s offerings and blessings and immerse ourselves fully in it in order to be able to gain a better perspective.

Astro-Notes on April 14, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Sun in Aries semi-square Neptune in Pisces
– Mars in Taurus quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries
– Moon ingress to Pisces at 4:11 pm EDT
– Mercury ingress to Taurus at 6:51 pm EDT (until April 30) and trine Pallas in Capricorn

So, now that we are on course and cooperation is happening, we feel in tune with our environment and also more idealistic later in the day. Therefore, after Mercury’s ingress to Taurus a sub-period begins during which we can build upon our connection to others, especially since Mercury and Venus will be in mutual reception, continue implementing plans and ideas as well as sustain established schedules and routines, accumulate information and ensure flexibility and adaptability. Consequently, we know our patience together with our persistence have paid off in the end.

Reaching out helps us to recreate opportunities for our personal entertainment or enjoyment in the

future and thus to invest in our cause. Therefore, if we take advantage of the openings and space we have to our disposal today, we can lay back later and tend to our wellbeing, while satisfying our senses or cravings.

Now that we’ve learnt our lesson in regard to self-preservation or found out about our social duties and

responsibilities we reached a better understanding about our role in the larger scheme of things and the purpose we’re meant to fulfill to validate our worth and prove ourselves. Therefore, we carried out our mission to contribute to these causes we hold sacred and acted on our beliefs, principles and convictions (an excellent example are the 3 missing school girls from the UK who just crossed into Syria to join IS). A new wind is blowing, so to speak, and as things are changing once again, we can take advantage of the situation and make a difference or progress with specific commitments we’ve chosen to pursue (another great example is Obama’s veto of the keystone bill). After the Moon’s ingress to Gemini will we feel lighter and also more flexible, while seeking to adapt to the new trends.

Astro-Notes for November 29 and 30, 2014

Daily aspects for November 29:
– First Quarter Moon at 7:06 Pisces/Sagittarius at 5:06 am EST
– Sun in Sagittarius sesqui Eris Rx in Aries
– Pallas in Scorpio semi-sextile NN in Libra/quincunx SN in Aries
– Venus in Sagittarius trine Juno in Leo
– Mercury in Sagittarius semi-square NN in Libra/sesqui SN in Aries

Daily aspects on November 30:
– Moon ingress to Aries at 8:13 pm EST
– Mercury in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces

The last days’ ‘crisis in action’ tested our tolerance level, because we were challenged to keep going

and our ‘business’ running amidst the ‘shopping craze’ we witnessed on this Black Friday weekend. We also had to deal with more than the usual amount of ignorance and mindlessness – whether this meant we encountered single-mindedness or simple-mindedness – or might even have displayed it ourselves. In the same sense as it takes a lot of work and manpower to put the stores back together, so to speak, had the households to provide more meals, hospitality and entertainment, while undertaking a big clean-up effort after the Thanksgiving Dinner. Therefore, it was important to remember our higher values and to play along. We wanted to be a good sport and keep our good relations intact, even though the competitive spirit was at its highest level for many folks. Alas, we might have seen and experienced things that made us wonder about the human race, consumerism and where we are headed as a society. In any case, yesterday we had to deal with the results of the event or occasion and could have felt uplifted and proud about our success, gains or sales. For our store, it was also our first anniversary since opening one year ago – a big milestone. We’ve come a far way indeed and have still way to go. A friend of mine was so nice to help me to get my new TV I purchased at this sales event home (too big and heavy to carry with me on the bus) for which I was very grateful. The North Node’s transit through Libra brings many opportunities for us to recognize our interdependence and co-existence and how to make the best of it. After my shift I took the next bus to the mall to get some special Christmas decorations. However, I couldn’t find anything that matched my vision. So, this was rather a waste of my time and I returned home so late that I couldn’t do anything else anymore.

Accordingly, Tarot card of the day was the 4 of Swords”, which signified a break from normal life and a time when we seek to come to terms with what is. There is light at the end of the tunnel and inevitable changes to come, which we need to use as a foundation stone for future plans. The shadow over our life is slowly moving away, but it will take some time.

Today now, as Mercury is waxing into a square to Neptune, we have to focus on our unfinished business or delayed plans and find ways to realize them, even if the conditions are not perfect. In this regard is it also essential to not get distracted or let our mind wander off or to be deterred by disillusionment. We may have to look at things with an open mind and get newly inspired to be able to feel enthusiastic about our endeavors and get over with them already, instead of complaining and sulking. Later in the evening will we feel reanimated and ready for more action.

Tarot card of the day is the 8 of Swords”, suggesting that we need to look at a difficult situation from a new angle and with a different perspective. Because our thinking is limited and we’re struggling to see a way out of our dilemma, it is imperative that we open our eyes to the options that lay in front of us. There are choices available, but in order to recognize them, we have to get into the right mindset first.

Today, minor adjustments in priorities and plans are required for the sake of greater causes or

commitments and responsibilities we share. We can still be productive, if we manage our affairs constructively and take advantage of ‘openings’ to organize and carry out activities we’ve planned.
