Astro-Notes on May 13, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Vesta conjunct Chiron in Pisces
– Sun in Taurus semi-sextile Eris in Aries
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

A new sub-cycle begins today, during which we have a chance to dedicate us toward ending a long-standing

problem, which has been a source of despair and seemingly never-ending pain or difficulty and also pour our energy into causes that bring us healing and wholesomeness. Thus, we make a personal adjustment for the sake of our self-interests and do something out of character that helps us to bring forth our competitive spirit or to be more authentic.

Tarot card of the day is the 6 of Wands”, suggesting that things are changing in a positive way. There is the possibility of acclaim and acknowledgment. It could be our day to shine or we could be coming out on top. We strive to be successful and seek to promote ourselves more frequently in order to gain the recognition we desire. However, it is important that we keep the ego in check.

Daily aspects:
– Mercury in Aries semi-square Venus in Taurus
– Venus in Taurus sextile Chiron in Pisces
– Sun in Aries trine Jupiter Rx in Leo
– Juno in Leo trine Saturn Rx in Sagittarius

It is critical today to make sure our personal values and priorities are met, which requires that we have an action plan and keep our focus on our objectives, especially since we can take advantage of the situation and pursue our as yet unfulfilled needs. As a result, our self-confidence is rising and so is our conviction that we will succeed with our mission now that we reaffirmed our role and purpose in the larger scheme of things.

Daily aspects:
– Mars ingress to Taurus at 12:26 pm EDT (until May 12)
– Moon ingress to Virgo at 2:12 pm EDT
– Mercury in Aries semi-sextile Vesta in Pisces
– Juno in Leo trine Saturn Rx in Sagittarius

Our role in a relationship situation has led to results and a better understanding of our life’s

conditions. Therefore, today begins a period during which we will steadily build up motivation, stamina and strength as well as productivity, cultivate courage and persistence and carry out activities and intentions in a consistent and repetitive manner. This requires that we adjust our personal plans or agenda to be able to sacrifice for our common cause. After the Moon’s ingress to Virgo will we feel more helpful and ready to fix and improve.

Astro-Notes on January 18, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Moon ingress to Capricorn at 7:04 am EST
– Venus in Aquarius semi-square Ceres in Capricorn
– Mars conjunct Neptune in Pisces

The Moon’s ingress to Capricorn this morning set us in the mood to get down to business and take care of

obligations, responsibilities and other tasks whose time has come. Per example, I woke early, even though I could have slept in today, and tackled the cleaning of my kitchen right away. I even pulled the oven out of its corner. After I was done with that, I have been trying to catch up with mails and phone calls and I’m still working on it. With my natal Mercury in Sagittarius in house 4 I have many contacts and connections. There’s lots of lengthy chatting going on in my home, with my family and friends from the past. I also experienced transiting Mars in Pisces in opposition to my natal Mars and now crossing over my Descendant-Vesta conjunction (opposing Ascendant) to join Neptune. So, I can’t hide or avoid things any longer. Not to mention that this new cycle is starting at an angle of my chart that concerns awareness of others and my energy investments or dedication involved in these causes. Venus in Aquarius’ semi-square to Ceres in Capricorn also caused me to respond instantly and quickly, ‘moving obstacles/hindrances right out of the way’, while focusing on the goal and this helped me to get my priorities straight. Anyway, the new synodic cycle of Mars and Neptune is synched with a new lunation cycle in Aquarius, whose ruler Uranus is conjoined to the South Node in Aries (opposite North Node in Libra). Consequently, actions, initiatives and intentions during this time will be inspired by ideals, sacrifices, solidarity, compassion, escapism, expectations, uncertainty, dreams, longings, projections and illusions and this will be the result of reactions to recent changes, reforms and trends confronting us with relationship conflicts and the need to arrange for our future prospects in this regard. Therefore, in order to move on from our past struggles and to be able to make progress we have to get a handle on chaotic conditions, fight anarchy and reject divisiveness in order to achieve a more balanced state or society where we can peacefully coexist and appreciate our differences at the same time. This requires a willingness to cooperate, compromise and accommodate.

Astro-Notes for January 1 and 2, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Vesta in Capricorn square nodal axis, quincunx Juno Rx in Leo and semi-square Saturn in Sagittarius
– Moon ingress to Gemini at 12:08 pm EST
– Mars in Aquarius opposite Jupiter Rx in Leo and sextile Eris Rx in Aries
– Venus in Capricorn semi-square Chiron in Pisces

We stand on a cross-roads commitment-wise as we enter this New Year that forces us to confront our personal options and beliefs, which are under review, in order to be able to move on from the past and thus, from reacting impulsively, impatiently and even angrily, thereby burning off our energy quickly and allowing ourselves to be stressed out or overcome by frustration and negativity. If we want to achieve our goals, we have to do things differently and this requires that we set our intentions accordingly, focusing on success and progress rather than struggling with chaos, disorganization and disruptions. We have to understand that these are part of life and that we cannot control our circumstances, but we can master them by devoting us toward a constructive and well-managed use of our energy and also by holding ourselves to high standards. By taking advantage of certain trends in a group situation or other special circumstance, we can demonstrate mindfulness and leadership and be proactive at the same time and this is what really counts, especially in regard to how suitable we are for a role or position we’re holding or aspiring toward in our competitive world. For instance, I had to rise to the occasion at work and supervise some of my co-workers in a coordinated effort to put our store back together and get our merchandise out. Although I couldn’t accomplish everything I wanted to do, we worked together very well, trying to do our best. It was also my intention to write this blog post before I had to leave for a late shift at work, I just couldn’t achieve that goal due to personal responsibilities and happenings, which prevented me from writing in addition to a lack of time. Unsurprisingly, I drew this rather discouraging card (and it has meaning for the entire year!!!!).

Tarot card of the day was the 5 of Cups”, a card that is associated with loss, suffering and sadness. There is a lack of attainment or non-fulfillment of expected results. Thus, today is a day of emotional up and downs when we could feel disappointed, cry over spilled milk or letting go of a hope. We might be feeling regret, only seeing the negative in a situation and generally have a pessimistic outlook on things. The more important is it to focus on our higher potential and the things are still left for us to work with. Forgiveness and the ability to recover are necessary.

However, I couldn’t reach my mother and my old aunt was too sick to be able to talk to me (I usually call them on the 1st day of the new year to wish them a happy new year), which together with a certain lack of attainment, corresponds to the message of this card. Not to mention that I noticed many tragic events in the news. Therefore, for many people this has been a rather sad start as we’re closer to a Full Moon than to a new cycle, which actually began at the time of the Winter Solstice and Capricorn New Moon. Moreover, last year’s card was the Ace of Cups and this proceeding from the Ace to the Five shows the change in the relationship area that’s hanging over our heads after we started over and renewed our relationships or got involved in new relationships in 2014.

Today now, we had to make adjustments that concerned our causes and priorities based on relationship dynamics (mostly reconnections for myself – Moon in Gemini is a talkative phase) and interactions with others, which required these ‘sacrifices’. It was and is critical to show compassion and to try to put ourselves in the other’s shoes and also to acknowledge the value of these relationships or friendships, to validate and appreciate these important others as well as their contributions to our own happiness, even if that comes at the expense of our time. Our integrity and competence is growing with every single commitment we take seriously and with every single step we take in the right direction.

Astro-Notes on September 27, 2014

Daily aspects:
– Mercury in Libra sesqui Chiron Rx in Pisces and ingress to Scorpio at 6:39 pm EDT (until Nov. 28 due to rx)
– Pallas in Libra semi-sextile Saturn in Scorpio and sesqui Neptune Rx in Pisces

A period of intensified planning and scheduling is starting today, when we deal with deadlines and

endings, take inventory of data and information, share thoughts and join friends or engage more deeply in local connections. Many matters might get more complex or complicated or both as ideas, plans, friendships and projects evolve or get discarded entirely. Consequently, we adjust our relationship politics accordingly, no longer trying to even things out or smooth them over, but going with the flow, bending and mending.

Astro-Notes on June 8, 2014 – rewarding experiences

The Sun in Gemini engaged in a square to Chiron in Pisces already yesterday afternoon and has been making us painfully aware of our own role within the wounding and healing principle since or where we stand in our own way in this regard and also those instances in particular when we fail to apply what we should have learnt already and thus, shoot ourselves in the foot. Therefore, as the Gemini Sun follows up with a quincunx to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio today, we had time to reflect on this and as a consequence, will adjust ourselves accordingly, while renewing our sense of structure, knowing that we can do this and readying ourselves to complete another stretch of our journey. Venus in Taurus’ trine to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn shows that we’re recovering ground, reorganizing our affairs and feel better or even rewarded as a result.
