Astro-Notes on April 19, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Mercury in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces, quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries and sextile Vesta in Pisces
– Ceres in Aquarius sextile Saturn Rx in Sagittarius
– Venus in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces and trine NN in Libra/sextile SN in Aries
– Pallas stations Rx at 00:26 Capricorn at 9:29 pm EDT (will station direct on August 3 at 11:39 Sag)

While we’ve been upholding our hopes in regard to certain outcomes or expectations, we also made up our mind to be able to arrange for our future prospects after we reviewed the conditions and latest developments within our specific set of circumstances together with our individual support system. However, we still deal with uncertainty and don’t know which way things will go as we’re awaiting closure in a matter that has been dragging on for too long. Therefore, we might want to take advantage of the opportunity, which could open up later today, and just walk away from the situation and thus move on with our lives. As Pallas stations retrograde in the first degree of Capricorn in square aspect to the Aries Point, where the ‘personal becomes political’ and then begins to retrace her steps through Sagittarius, we are dealing with consequences and could reconsider our approach or even make or face a major decision before we enter a period during which we will review our long-term politics and strategies.

Tarot card of the day is the8 of Cups”, suggesting that we’re leaving a situation that is no longer working for us. It is important to know though that good times lie ahead. By realizing that the current cycle is over, we’re disentangling ourselves and moving on. We’re starting on a journey of discovery and seek deeper meaning. This is a card of change and transition.

Astro-Notes on August 2, 2014

Daily aspects:
– Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Leo and square Mars in Scorpio
– Moon ingress to Scorpio at 10:56 pm EDT

So, a new sub-cycle is starting today that combines the lower mind with the higher, the near with the far, the immediate with the distant and connections, communication, plans and agendas with expansion, reach, quests, opportunities and possibilities in the creative, confident and exuberant sign Leo. However, shared activities or joint ventures are posing challenges to this flamboyant combo right from the get-go, thereby testing our tolerance level, which has the potential to cause lots of drama. Therefore, at the end of the day, after the Moon’s shift to Scorpio, we need to transform all these mood swings – the lows and the highs – and regenerate.

Astro-Notes on May 20, 2014 – moving on

Later tonight, at 10:59 pm EDT, will the Sun make ingress to Gemini and instantly engage in a semi-square to Uranus in Aries. This initiates a period when our life becomes busier and more versatile and when we express ourselves with more ease as well as in a variety of roles, wearing different hats or showing other parts of our personality. It is critical though in this context that we focus on individualization or our personal process of unfoldment and introduce some changes into our life in order to be able to advance our personal or collective causes.

Astro-Notes on March 30, 2014 – Aries New Moon

As the Sun and Moon meet up for the Aries New Moon at 2:44 pm EDT, their dispositor Mars Rx in Libra is opposite Eris in Aries, confronting us with a conflict between our attitude and our intentions we need to reconcile if we want to succeed in this competitive world and in the way we seek to partner up. This especially concerns personal tendencies toward single-(even simple-) mindedness or self-absorption, which is repeated in the New Moon’s sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Pallas in Leo that demands from us to review our personal politics and mental stance or state of mind in this context. A semi-sextile between Juno in Aries and Chiron in Pisces requires that we become aware of the role we identify with and then adjust our instinctual reactions in such a way that we are able as well as motivated to end and transcend these problems.

The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon at 9:58 Aries states:
“A teacher gives new symbolic forms to traditional images. Keynote: Revision of attitude at the beginning of a new cycle of experience – ABSTRACTION and emotional allegiance.”

Aries New Moon 2014

It’s time to let go off negativity and self-sabotaging or self-undoing tendencies. Instead of focusing on the ‘wound’ (whining, complaining), we better smarten up, look at the bright side of things and attune ourselves to higher vibrations, while embracing the principle of inclusivity and unity. We are all in this together and therefore, we need to bridge our differences and find common ground. Spring has sprung; thus, we can leave our cave and emerge into the ‘light’.

Astro-Notes on September 30, 2013 – moving on

Pallas in Leo casts a quincunx to retrograde Chiron in Pisces and a trine to retrograde Uranus in Aries, while Venus in Scorpio engages in another quincunx to retrograde Eris in Aries and the Sun in Libra in a semi-sextile to the North Node in Scorpio (quincunx South Node in Taurus). Thus, it’s a day of adjustments when we concentrate on progress and are determined to reform or upgrade our politics to be able to deal with as yet unresolved problems or unfinished issues from a new creative angle. A complex assessment of our path and purpose together with priorities and preferences will help us shift our position and attitude, thereby getting rid of a sense of lethargy and also unstuck from an immovable situation, all of which is in our best interest.

Astro-Notes on April 24, 2013 – disentangling ourselves

Mercury in Ariesquincunx to the North Node in Scorpio (semi-sextile South Node in Taurus) shows an adjustment in plans or schedules we made as we align our focus with our life’s direction and evolving future prospects to be able to move away from past conditions that keep us stuck in a rut. As Venus in Taurus trines retrograde Pluto in Capricorn and the Sun in Taurus forms a sextile with Neptune in Pisces, we have succeeded in mastering our life’s circumstances in a way that allowed us to preserve our personal values, assets and relationships and as a consequence, feel accomplished and empowered. This provides us with a chance to add more quality to our life, to cultivate awareness and gratitude, and to feel positive about the realization of our vision and dreams. Pallas in Taurussquare to Juno in Aquarius tests our personal politics as we seek to change certain relationship dynamics that have proved to be unproductive and unreliable in this context. Vesta will make ingress to Cancer at 8:45 pm EDT, where she will be traversing until July 6, which corresponds to a period when things concerning our home and family become more sacred to us and when we are therefore growing in our dedication and devotion toward our roots, while committing us to support, bonding and belonging. “Home is where the heart is.”

Astro-Notes on October 11, 2012 – training day

The Moon made ingress to Virgo at 3:23 pm EDT and activated the Saturn-Neptune trine instantly. As our mood shifted

to work- and service-related issues, we might have gotten overwhelmed at first with the sheer amount of demands placed on us and could have experienced some complications in the flow.

Personal Note: I was still sleeping when my phone rang this morning. Because I got called in to work I could not follow my usual routine. The same was true at work, where I had to take over on the courtesy desk right away (the transiting Moon squared my IC/MC axis from house 12 and then moved into an opposition to my Saturn in 6), where I still needed some assistance with tasks I hadn’t practiced yet or practices I couldn’t recall anymore. So, it was another “training day” for me when some of my co-workers helped me out and one of our manager’s gave me the nastiest stare ever.
