So, I came home late again yesterday afternoon and I chatted away the evening with my girlfriend and

therefore, I didn’t have any time to look at the astrological aspects or prepare a blog post. Neither have I been able to enjoy the beautiful, sunny weather these last few days – today included – because I had to run my errands and came home late and then the Sun was gone and today it even rained as a thunderstorm passed us by. Good thing though that I haven’t gotten back into last year’s habit of going on my long walks on Saturday after work, because this would have forced me to find shelter somewhere. As a result, I’ve been kicking off my personal weekend by drinking ice-cold coconut water out on my balcony and snacking on my Texas nut mix, while reading a suspense novel. Though since I’ve been forced by the change in weather to go back inside, I turned on the computer and poured myself a glass of Australian Cabernet Sauvignon (Venus in Cancer qx Saturn Rx in Sag and Mars in Taurus qx Pallas Rx in Sag). In the greater scheme of things (in my life), people are switching departments – voluntarily and involuntarily. This happened before I had a chance to discuss my own plans for the near future with my manager. I’m thinking about going on night shift for a week and would have a good reason in case of several new modulars dropping at once as they did last year in June. It’s also time for me to book my vacation in Philadelphia. Just need to figure out how to get from here to the bus terminal in Toronto. Yep, these are a few matters or issues that I will have to go back and forth over during the impending Mercury retrograde period. Not to mention that I NEED a new computer before this one will break down on me. So, please consider purchasing a personalized reading from me. That would very much help my cause. In the meantime, the Moon made ingress to Aquarius and my new neighbors are getting social and in party mood. They either don’t realize that everybody on this site of the building can listen to their conversation or they don’t care. Things are changing around here too. No quiet, relaxing evenings anymore. 😦

Tarot card of the day is The Fool”, referring to unlimited potential, new beginnings, a sense of innocence and naivety. Anything can happen as we start on this journey. We could be taken into unchartered territory and thus need to be aware of the risks and dangers we could encounter, but also need to be ready to take on the opportunities presented to us. This card encourages us to have faith and calls upon us to trust, believe in our spirit and to follow our heart.

Daily aspects:
– Moon ingress to Cancer at 3:45 pm EDT
– Mercury in Pisces semi-sextile Eris in Aries
– Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn

We have to adjust our plans and schedule in such way that we can meet our self-interests, knowing that we can’t delay certain things any longer. Once the Moon will make ingress to Cancer will we be striving for nurturance, while seeking to bond and to get the support we need.

Daily aspects:
– Juno in Leo sextile NN in Libra/trine SN in Aries
– Mars in Aquarius semi-sextile Neptune in Pisces
– Venus ingress to Capricorn at 11:41 am EST (until Jan. 3)

This was not a good day for me. Although I had some of my co-workers helping me with my merchandise, it

seemed as though I was not able to coordinate our efforts and then there was one misunderstanding after another. Only after Venus’ ingress to Capricorn did things settle down a bit and people were more reasonable. This started a period during which we have a chance to ground and stabilize our feelings or emotional nature, strengthen our values and relationships, organize our assets and work on our self-worth and wellbeing.

Astro-Notes on June 18, 2014 – taking our chances

Venus in Taurus forms a sextile to Jupiter in Cancer, while Juno in Gemini is approaching a semi-square to Uranus in Aries. Thus, as we seek to move forward in a relationship situation that has become a matter of concern and urgency, because things have been taken out of our hands, we have to take our chances and intervene or risk something along the way, thereby supporting our beliefs and principles and making sure our needs are being taken care of so that we can continue to prosper.

Astro-Notes on June 4, 2014 – fulfilling opportunities

A sextile from Venus in Taurus to Neptune in Pisces offers us a chance to meet certain ideals or expectations if we pursue what we want, value, like or even what provides us with a sense of material security or other gratification. Moreover, encounters we have today could prove fruitful or validating. After the Moon’s ingress to Virgo at 10:19 am EDT will we feel a lot more industrious and willing to help out or offer our service where it is needed.

Astro-Notes on May 6, 2014 – following our heart

The sextile between the Sun in Taurus and Jupiter in Cancer

that already formed yesterday afternoon offered us a chance to continue with our traditional way of seeking meaning and purpose, while building up self-appreciation and good faith. Today though, Mercury in Taurus squares Pallas in Leo and then engages in a quincunx to the North Node in Libra (semi-sextile South Node in Aries) and a stressful sesqui-quadrate to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. Consequently, a packed schedule or news that affect our sense of emotional security challenge us in the creative department and therefore, we have to adjust our usual routine or way of dealing with these things and shift our focus toward our future prospects, we have to accommodate and arrange for somehow, or in other words, we better come up with a feasible plan regarding how to approach the situation instead of being stubborn and getting all angry. Yes, there is some serious business going on and we’re struggling to wrap our mind around this. It might just be too much to handle for what we know and are used to. Thus, as the waxing Leo Moon squares the Taurus Sun at 11:14 pm EDT, marking the First Quarter Moon phase in the Taurus lunation cycle, ‘the crisis in action’ tests our resourcefulness. “The fully decorated Christmas tree” (Sabian Symbol for the Taurus New Moon) could be too ‘overbearing’ for our personal taste. However, this dramatic scenario forces us to take heart and show what we are made of. With resilience and confidence we shall persevere.

Astro-Notes on February 7, 2014 – foolishness

Although we won’t see any aspect perfections for the next 3 days, which is quite unusual, the trine between retrograde Jupiter in Cancer and Chiron in Pisces is still very effective and they are also tied to Pluto in Capricorn (with an opposition and a sextile, respectively). The first headline I read as I opened my homepage was http://news.ca.msn.com/local/saskatchewan/truck-filled-with-dead-coyotes-in-saskatoon-sparks-debate, which comes with the warning that some might find the images disturbing. I didn’t even look at the images – I already found the headline disturbing (knowing that this alone will haunt me forever), realizing once again the amount of damage we humans inflict upon this planet and its ecosystem due to our ‘inbred stupidity’ and disconnectedness from the cosmos and the world soul (Jupiter Rx in Cancer trine Chiron in Pisces). We not only cause immense suffering amongst ourselves, we also have total disregard for other species and drive them to the brink of extinction without even giving a damn or a second thought as to the long-term consequences of our actions, while behaving as if there were no tomorrow and lacking the most basic understanding of life and our place within the ecosystem. Yesterday’s Tarot card “The Devil” is followed by today’s “The Fool” – indeed, these cards speak for themselves! By keeping chained to our lower nature, we’re walking a dangerous path. Not recognizing that our ‘superior position’ also comes with responsibilities we have to live up to by developing maturity, respect and wisdom, our civilization is ‘doomed’ and can expect the same fate other species met through our hands. Remaining ignorant and unaware will lead to more degeneration of our society and eventually to our own demise.
However, after the Moon’s ingress to Gemini at 1:43 pm EST will we feel chattier and busier and review our moves and communication from the preceding days.
