Astro-Notes on May 15, 2015

Daily aspects:
– Mars in Gemini opposite Saturn Rx in Sagittarius
– Sun in Taurus sesqui NN in Libra/semi-square SN in Aries
– Venus in Cancer quincunx Ceres in Aquarius
– Juno conjunct Jupiter in Leo
– Neptune in Pisces quincunx NN in Libra/semi-sextile SN in Aries

We have to prepare ourselves for the long weekend here in Canada (Victoria Day weekend) and make the

necessary arrangements to have everything ready for either a trip to the cottage or a barbeque at home or whatever festivities and fun we have planned for this occasion. I, however, have signed up for an additional shift on Monday. Thus, I won’t have a nice long weekend; I will have a short weekend that’s divided up in 2 single days. I figured it doesn’t matter that much since I couldn’t get 3 days in a row off anyway, because we are understaffed at work (Mars in Gemini opposite Saturn Rx in Sagittarius). One of my co-workers was so nice to offer me a ride, which made it possible for me to take this shift, because public transit won’t be available on that day (another manifestation of this aspect). So, I’ll be laboring hard all weekend (lots of chores to do in my home too) and this will be physical rather than mental, which I would have preferred. Therefore, as this sub-cycle is closing and we could be feeling more confident as well as expressive about our role and purpose as a result, I’m asking you to please consider purchasing a personalized reading with me. This way we can help each other.

Tarot card of the day is The Lovers”, indicating choices where moral values are questioned, especially in relationship situations. A decision must be made about which we feel divided. We may be struggling with temptations and need to remember that the most attractive option is not always the best one. Problems can be overcome via reconciliation, through harmony and cooperation.

Astro-Notes on August 20, 2014

Daily aspects:
– Moon ingress to Cancer at 4:44 am EDT
– Juno in Cancer trine Neptune Rx in Pisces (aspect perfection)
– Pallas in Libra semi-sextile Ceres in Scorpio

We felt nourished and supported this morning and sought to hold onto that now that our hopes or wishes in a relationship situation have been fulfilled and we reconnected or re-established a bond that’s been a source of nurturance. However, we need to assess our approach in those cases where our expectations have been too high or idealistic and try to be more cooperative or conciliatory so that we can reach our common goals.

Astro-Notes on June 2, 2014 – the different aspects of our personality

The Sun in Gemini casts a tense sesqui-quadrate to the North Node in Libra (semi-square South Node in Aries), which marks this as a critical time for the evaluation of our future prospects, especially in the context of past and current life-style and how this has been affecting our sense of Self and consequently, our performance. Therefore, in order to be able to lead a more balanced and harmonious life in the future, we have to acknowledge the different sides of our personality and then try to reconcile them, instead of struggling with our versatility or fighting the interplay of the dark and light within us.

Astro-Notes on April 13, 2014 – rocking the boat

The Sun in Aries opposes retrograde Vesta in Libra, who also receives a

sesqui-quadrate from Venus in Pisces, while Mercury in Aries forms another sesqui-quadrate to Pallas in Leo. Thus, we are confronted with an internal conflict that concerns relationship commitments and our role within them, which we have to review, because our energy investment in these causes seems to be rather one-sided and we feel as though we’re very much left to our own and that others don’t do their part or fair share. This is causing us unhappiness and we’ve had about enough of it and as a consequence, start to rock the boat. Therefore, it is critical that we re-evaluate the sacrifices we’ve been making in this regard and focus on our self-interests instead, which requires that we use tactics to protect ourselves from unfair or unjust conditions and this includes being straightforward in our dealings with others and addressing these issues directly and uncompromisingly. Since the Moon’s ingress to Libra at 4:33 am EDT have we been more aware of others and their impact on us, while seeking to establish inner peace and harmony.

Astro-Notes on April 10 and 11, 2014 – tuning in to the higher love principle

Yesterday, a semi-sextile between Mercury in Aries and Venus

in Pisces showed that we had to quickly come up with an idea or plan and sacrifice for the greater good to be able to meet higher values or at least help each other out, even though we had other plans on our agenda. Since the Moon’s ingress to Virgo at 6:07 pm EDT could we’ve been feeling more ready to be of service and focus on practicality and efficiency.

Tarot card of the day was the 4 of Wands”, a card that deals with openings and gateways we can step through, giving us a chance to get out of an oppressive situation or escape from unhappy circumstances. This card has an uplifting, celebratory quality about it and brings people together. We’re moving from one stage to another.

Today now, the Sun meets Juno in conjunction in Aries, while both form a semi-square to Neptune in Pisces and a quincunx to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio and Mercury in Aries casts a semi-sextile to the former and a sesqui-quadrate to the latter. Thus, we are more determined to make things happen in our life by taking a more active role, especially in our exchanges and dealings with others, whereby it is important to be aware of certain expectations. This means we have to adjust to shared values and to matters of mutual interest instead of singling ourselves out and ‘going it alone’. As Venus joins Neptune in conjunction in Pisces, another new sub-cycle starts during which we have a chance to feel more attuned to the world around us as well as included and ‘in the flow’ and when relationships, values, attachments and the love principle in general are shapeable and bendable and subject to all kinds of influences.

Astro-Notes on March 14, 2014 – the choices we have

After the Moon’s ingress to Virgo at 10:17 am EDT our playful mood shifts towards creating

order, while we occupy ourselves with service and thus, with the tasks at hand, especially with the Moon moving into sextile to retrograde Ceres in Scorpio right away, which could provide the necessary impetus to get ready and do our chores. Meanwhile, the weather has improved with the result that we could feel regenerated and better equipped to take on the day. Mercury in Aquarius engages in a stressful semi-square to his dispositor Uranus in Aries on which he follows up with a trine to retrograde Mars in Libra, accelerating mental processes and general proceedings, while urging us to focus on the immediate future and the choices we have in this regard. Therefore, decisions we make today are the outcome of a fresh or reformed mindset and lead to compromising and accommodating reactions, because we are inspired as well as motivated to coordinate and balance to make the best of our ‘encounters’ and plans.

Unsurprisingly, Tarot card of the day is again the card of “The Lovers”, indicating choices where moral values are questioned, especially in relationship situations. A decision must be made about which we feel divided. We may be struggling with temptations and need to remember that the most attractive option is not always the best one. Problems can be overcome via reconciliation, through harmony and cooperation.

Astro-Notes on March 13, 2014 – feeling divided about decisions

A sesqui-quadrate from Mercury in Aquarius to Jupiter in Cancer together with a semi-sextile between Juno in Aries and Neptune in Pisces urge us to cultivate some social sense and consider new opportunities presented to us – whether this concerns invitations or proposals or suggestions – instead of holding on to past convictions and principles. Consequently, interactions could draw us out of ‘obscurity’ or isolation as we take the initiative, offer a helping hand and seek to keep things on a positive note. The Sun in Pisces’ trine to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio marks the completion of a lesson in regard to shared values with the result that we reviewed our self-image and the impression we give off to others.
