– Moon ingress to Aquarius at 3:59 am EDT
– Venus in Libra quincunx Neptune Rx in Pisces
Today we wake in a changed mood and with a sense of anticipation or urgency and thus, could be feeling the need to hurry up. Therefore, we have to adjust our priorities and preferences accordingly to be able to meet reviewed expectations and as yet unfulfilled promises and ideals. This includes that we have to be ready to make amends and sacrifices for the greater good of all parties concerned. Per example, we had our first inventory in our ‘new’ store, which is especially challenging for us department managers as we have to keep counting and re-counting and finalizing papers, while our own areas (departments) ‘suffer from the negligence’. We also had to put in a lot of overtime and therefore couldn’t do much at home either. No wonder then, that with the approaching Mercury retrograde and eclipses, things have gotten a bit out of hand. Mercury is already crawling to a halt in Scorpio so that the concentration of this energy is quite palpable and I had to descale my Keurig coffeemaker twice (hopefully, this time did the magic), relying on instant coffee instead for the sake of convenience and with time being scarce. In the meantime had my car insurance policy being renewed, even though I don’t own the car anymore. So, I have to take care of this today, my first day off this week, instead of being able to rewind and recover. Not to mention that I returned home yesterday to a plugged toilet (such a Scorpio issue again) and was lucky enough to still get a hold of the maintenance guy, who sent the cleaning Lady over. However, things seem to be a bit more complicated (Scorpio). So, he’ll be coming over later this morning. I just ‘begged’ to give me some time in the morning to sleep in a few hours and have a shower. Not to mention that I have readings to prepare for and still have to work on the eclipse reports. Tarot card of the day is “The Hierophant”, representing traditional values and moral development. This card is suggesting that we stay within conventional bounds and follow established social structures and traditions. There is a need to conform to rules or fixed situations and to go along with the program. We are working as part of a team and are doing the right thing. This concerns especially the bridging of the earthly and divine, which can be achieved by using our situation or particular circumstances to transcend as yet unevolved aspects of ourselves. A gateway to higher consciousness is open for us today that allows us to access the sacred as we try to understand the inner world.
Right at the beginning of the day at 00:06 am EDT
did the Moon
make ingress to Aquarius
, stirring up our inner life and changing the pace of events. As a consequence, we might feel a bit edgy and rebellious. The Sun in Leo
engages in a couple of stressful octile aspects – a semi-square
to Jupiter in Cancer
and a sesqui-quadrate
to retrograde Uranus in Aries
, urging us to foster our personal growth and support opportunities for our creative unfolding and self-realization. It is critical that we advance our cause and instigate progress on all fronts to be able to reinvent ourselves. With Venus in Libra
involved in a quincunx
aspect to retrograde Neptune in Pisces
we have to adjust our material and relationship arrangements accordingly so that we can meet expectations and longings we’ve reviewed or revisited.
Tarot card of the day is the “9 of Pentacles”, speaking of completion of events and that the outcome made it worth our while. Consequently, we feel pleased with what we achieved. Self-sufficiency and self-reliance are indicated. We feel secure and content or settled and set up in our life. Continuing success will come through foresight and good planning as we focus on our very specific aims.
The Sun in Scorpio’s quincunx to retrograde Uranus in Aries implicates an adjustment in regard to our role, self-expression or passion to newly arising trends or other unexpected changes. As Mars in Sagittarius opposes retrograde Jupiter in Gemini we’re confronted with inner dichotomies together with controversies in viewpoints and principles, which conflict with our growth-oriented intentions. Consequently, actions or reactions might be contrary to our convictions, truths and morals to a point where beliefs and opinions could clash and we’re over-asserting or overextending ourselves, while anger is rising and we’re remaining ignorant or intolerant in some righteous way. However, facing these possibilities, we might come to the understanding that we need an alternative we should opt for and we might just find the right one the longer we think about it. Venus’ ingress to Libra at 9:03 am EDT, where she will traverse until November 22, and her instant quincunx to retrograde Neptune in Pisces, correlates to a period when we assess our style and values as well as evaluate and balance finances, assets, talents, relationships and worth and this begins with a shift in awareness that saves us from an otherwise overwhelming sense of disappointment due to unfulfilled expectations.
Tarot card of the day is the “2 of Cups”, suggesting that there is a mutual understanding between the people involved in a relationship and that interactions are balanced and harmonious, because of an awareness of the expectations each person has, which allows for growth and very special relationships. We’re calling a truce, reconcile, cooperate and accept our preferences as we’re leaving the past behind and holding ourselves in high regard. It is likely that we’re feeling ‘at one’ with the energies of the universe and also with ourselves. Moreover, our focus is on win-win situations as we show kindness and thoughtfulness.
