Astro-Notes on September 29, 2013 – finding the inner fortitude

Since the Moon’s ingress to Leo this morning at 3:57 am EDT have we been feeling

more self-expressive as well as confident and in the mood for fun and play. With Pallas in Leo in square to Saturn in Scorpio though, our challenge is to reign in the ego, intensify our structures and discipline ourselves so that we can focus on our obligations first and foremost. Mercury will make ingress to Scorpio at 7:38 am EDT, where he will be traversing until December 5 due to an impending retrograde, which will assist us in transforming our thought process and perception of things. Thus, we are starting a period of intensified planning and scheduling, when we deal with deadlines, complex and complicated matters of communication, the ending of certain connections, even relocation and “recycling” or evolving of ideas and projects. Vesta in Virgo’s trine to Pluto in Capricorn shows that our devotion to improvement and efficacy has resulted in better control over our circumstances.

Tarot card of the day is the “5 of Pentacles”, which portrays a pilgrimage or a long journey taken as an act of faith or devotion. We can find the inner fortitude to persist in our quest and bolster ourselves, while resisting the temptation to succumb to ‘spiritual poverty’. It’s time to move on and to let us be guided by our soul’s ‘light’ or inner shining star.
