Astro-Notes on April 26, 2021 – Scorpio Full Moon

The Aries lunation cycle that began on April 11 culminates in the Scorpio Full Moon tonight at 8:31 pm PDT. This potent Full Moon highlights the axis of emotional and social security, bringing matters regarding business, investment, insurance, resources, trust, intimacy, privacy, secrets, suspicion, power, passion, “death”, transformation and influence to a head.

Full Moons are times of revelations, illuminations, fulfillment or harvest, but also of tension, conflict or opposition and endings. And in Scorpio things are getting really intense as well as complex and complicated. The more important is it that we don’t give up, even if we feel desperate, defeated or that we’ve reached the end of our wits as the Full Moon’s harsh octile aspects with Neptune in Pisces could lead us into a severe crisis, which could leave us overwhelmed, exhausted, fatigued and disillusioned.

This is the moment when we have to let go and “let God”. Once we accept and surrender, we’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. Accordingly, the Full Moon is also engaged in a sextile aspect to Vesta in Virgo and Pallas in Pisces is forming another sextile to the separating Mercury-Venus conjunction in Taurus, which provides us with the necessary stamina, resourcefulness and dedication to persevere in our efforts and eventually, we will figure everything out.

The Sabian Symbol for the Full Moon at 7:06 Scorpio states:

“A calm lake bathed in moonlight. Keynote: A quiet openness to higher inspiration – QUIESCENCE.”

The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 7:06 Taurus states:

“A sleigh on land uncovered by snow. Keynote: The value of anticipating and preparing for expectable conditions – FUTURE-ORIENTED IMAGINATION.”

(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Pages 196 and 75-76, respectively)

Suggested is that we need to trust in the process and that it will lead us toward our desired destination.

Tarot card of the day is the “9 of Wands”, suggesting that we’ll be seeing something through to the end and will persist against the odds or despite of setbacks. There might be a last test or challenge before we can reach success, but as long as we don’t give up, we will achieve our goals. Therefore, it is important that we show stamina and keep our resolve. We will eventually prosper if we maintain our position with patience and vigilance.

Astro-Notes on April 11, 2021 – Aries New Moon

A new lunation cycle begins tonight at 7:30 pm PDT in the cardinal fire sign Aries. This is an auspicious time to set intentions toward action, new beginnings, self-assertion and -determination, physical activity, competitiveness, conquest, being first, bold and daring as well as showing motivation, courage and initiative.

The Aries New Moon is engaged in a tense sesqui-quadrate aspect to retrograde Vesta in Virgo, emphasizing the necessity to review our energy investments and how they serve our own interests. It is important now that we commit us toward ourselves and work on improving our life. With Venus in Aries, Pallas in Pisces, Pluto in Capricorn and the nodal axis across Gemini/Sagittarius involved in a stressful octile aspect configuration, we are undergoing a time of crisis, which causes a lot of inner tension or personal struggles to overcome that part of our nature that is holding us back from having our needs and values met or getting the validation we think and feel we deserve.

Thus, we have reached a point, where we have to make decisions about our future and life’s direction in order to gain some influence over our circumstances and future prospects. Instead of waiting and delaying, the moment has come to make our move and open us up to new possibilities. We have to go for what we want and need.

The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon at 22:24 Aries states:

“A pregnant woman in light summer dress. Keynote: Fecundity – INNER FULFILLMENT.”

(Dane Rudhyar, “An Astrological Mandala, The Cycle of Transformations and its 360 Symbolical Phases”, Page 66)

Desires motivate us to bring intentions and new potential into existence.

Tarot card of the day is the “9 of Cups”, otherwise known as the ‘wish card’. This card is about counting our blessings, living in the moment and enjoying the good things life has to offer. Joy and happiness are within our grasp. We can relish in the fact that we’re about to finally achieve what we have set out to do. There is stability and advancement and a strong possibility to obtain our goals.
