Astro-Notes on October 7, 2012 – filtering thoughts

Right after his ingress to Sagittarius (which was so late yesterday that I decided to mention it in today’s aspects) did Mars engage in a semi-sextile aspect to Saturn in Scorpio and a square to retrograde Neptune in Pisces, adjusting our approach in a way that allows us to renew our strength and authority and thus to overcome our weakness or negativity and disillusionment what certain expectations of ours concerns. Indeed, we are forced into action and greater Self-motivation in this regard with the t-square configured of retrograde Chiron in Pisces, square Juno in Sagittarius and opposite Venus in Virgo, building at the same time, challenging us to work on resolutions and closure for these recurring wounds and difficulties we experience in our interactions with others, which won’t go away and cannot longer be avoided, in particular so since we knew that it was just a matter of time when reality would catch up with us. Therefore, in order to have our values and needs met, and thus to improve our overall wellbeing, we have to explore a wider range of relationship options, while letting go off hopes, which don’t serve our growth anymore and cannot possibly be fulfilled anyway. Instead, awareness about the source of these problems will help us to figure out what to do and how to work these dynamics and connections.

Tarot card of the day is the “King of Swords”, symbolizing a decision-maker, who lives by clear logic and fact as well as by justice and fairness, has a sharp mind and high intellect and expands on inner wisdom. He is impartial, puts emotions aside, makes informed decisions and applies mind over matter. It’s a day when we can filter thoughts and imagination into cohesive ideas and projects.
